Love their cheeses and their cheese knowledge (and their patience when I’m selecting my cheeses)
The holiday catering was a little pricy for what it was
The crab bites (no picture) were extremely small and not very flavorful
Goat cheese bites were nice
The salmon was delicious and most pricy ($120)
Egg plant parmigiana tasted very well and seemed to me the best value for money

If you're ever looking for a reason why unfettered capitalism backed by monopolistic import laws and distributors is a terrible thing, visit this place.
$400 a kilo for pata negra, $200 a kilo for Salamanca, dry as a bone, sliced on a deli machine, and crushed between plastic sheets until it's a chunk you can wave around and smack your kids in the head with (see pic).
No cheese monger should slice jamon that expensive on a mechanical slicer.
$30 a pound of Bayley Hazen.
$20 for a handful of strawberries.
It actually makes sense to just fly to Europe, grab a few months of charcuterie, and fly back under the radar. It's basically like buying weed in Boston before 2016.
Never again.

The most wonderful cheese store in Boston. A great selection of hard and soft cheeses, yummy samples, and good gift selection. They can also pull together gift baskets, including sometimes on short notice.

It is like cheese heaven. So much to choose from. The employees are helpful. The quaint shop is what gives it its appeal; also the hand-written signange describing wach cheese's characteristic.

They have my favorite biscuits in the world in their freezer & incredible selection of meats, veggies, fresh bread, and goodies of all kinds! It’s small and packed normally, but it’s oh so good!

There was one other person in the store and they won’t make a sandwich to order? Horrible service, and rude about it. Never again.

If you love the feel of walking into a negiborhood, specialties store. . The feel of walking into Formagary in an archdiocese in Pairs.

Tiny shop with big flavors. We stopped in for sandwiches to go on a rainy day, not busy and picked out a few premade sandwiches. Had them grilled on the panini press, yum! Spicy Italian for me and a ham n butter roll for my daughter. Don’t forget to grab a cookie!

Wonderful selection, cheeses that you would have a very hard time finding outside of their villages of origin, knowledgeable people. Prices reflect it ... Things are expensive, but worth the occasional splurge!
