We’ve been several times and it’s always absolutely incredible. This time, we sat at the chefs table and had so much fun watching the chefs create each dish! It was my husband’s birthday and we were greeted with custom menus wishing him a happy birthday, such a nice touch! Our server was phenomenal, as were the food and drinks. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the house made ricotta and branzino were the stars of our most recent visit. This is one of our favorite neighborhood spots and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

We just went here on March 10th for my birthday dinner. I cannot even begin to tell you how happy we were with our experience. I a the cozy space and the decor of the restaurant.There were only three of us and we shared everything we ordered, so that we could try as many appetizers, entrees, and desserts as possible! I don’t even like clams, but the saffron pasta in the clam dish is absolutely incredible. Cutting into that giant ravioli and the perfect runny egg…. Just beautiful…and delicious. The broccoli dish all the way down to the olive oil chocolate cake…just delicious! We were talking about this dinner for days. We will definitely be back with more friends sooner than later.

Really cute buzzy spot with warm vibes! I just didn’t love the food. Our appetizers were good, the salads were interesting, but truly nothing special. My favorite thing was the bread and the broccoli salad. We ordered 3 pastas and everything looked stunning, but I just wasn’t wowed with how anything tasted and I always find that disappointing trying a new spot & with a higher price point, esp as someone who frequently makes handmade pasta. I’ll have to give it another try though, maybe we just ordered the wrong things because I really want to like it!

It was a wonderful experience! I went there for my birthday and they had printed out custom menus wishing me a happy birthday. Not only was the service fantastic, but the food and drinks were incredible! I recommend.

I had been wanting to go to Fox and the Knife for so long and I finally made it in and they did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommend the swordfish! And sitting at the Chef’s counter was great!

This was my first time here and I didn't know what to expect. We sat at the bar and our server Jake walked us through the whole menu, providing great context. Everything we ordered was amazing and the meal was perfectly paced out by our server. Jake was incredible and elevated the whole experience for us. Definitely recommend!

I’m a Chef in a Boston so I don’t think I’m totally out of the loop but I’m so confused on why am 8oz pasta dish is $30. I wish I could say it was amazing but there was no seasoning. I got the bolognese and the person I was with got the carbonara. Very small dishes that are uninspiring. Both dishes were around $30 each and the server was trying to push us to order more. I feel like I got robbed. Im confused because I know the owner is an amazing Chef but wow this was sad. Atmosphere was great but we were next to where all the servers congregate and had to listen to how much tips they were pulling in while we were getting robbed and eating are $3 worth of pasta for $30

Both the food and drinks were magnificent. Service was impeccable. Gets a little loud on a Saturday night, but that's life in the city. Absolute recommend, and we're already planning the next visit.

The dining experience was amazing! Every course was portioned perfectly. The staff was on point and super helpful the whole night even servers not dedicated to our table. The place was clean and inviting. I cannot wait to bring friends back here. Also for a high end award winning restaurant the prices were affordable. Great time can’t wait to go again!

Went for my wife’s birthday and they made it an extra special experience. I love this restaurant because it pairs excellent food and service with a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend. One of my favorite spots in the city.

My party mentioned several times that it was a birthday dinner. They even texted to ask whose name it was. They did nothing for it. I wouldn’t have expected much, but I did see them bring birthday candles and a dessert to two separate tables while our birthday guest got nothing. People forget stuff, so not a big deal. However, we told the server and she ignored it and laughed at us.Our focaccia app was cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. Our dinners were ok at best.I won’t be returning and will definitely tell people it’s extremely overrated.

I went back there last night. We order two appetizers; burrata and arugula salad. My entre was spaghetti with clams. Burrata turned out to not have been substituted with regular mozzarella and arugula was underdressed. The worst part was that my pasta was so acid it was barely edible. I was told the chef has been away, no one was home to keep watch. It's was pretty dismal experience.Vegetarian options: They offer mushroom pasta
