Came in from out of town and Fiji did not disappoint. I got the A5 Waygu. It comes for you to cook on a hot stone yourself. Absolutely melts in your mouth. Server was Japanese as well. Good vibe in there. $82 plate but worth it if you want something small but delicious.

After eating the shrimp fried rice and potstickers which I got as takeout from this restaurant a few hours later I got food poisoning and I have been sick all day. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Versatile sushi place. They have both options of pricy premium sushi and economical standard sushi & roll options. The fact that they have variety selection of menu is charming. Of course, I would not say charming if the quality is poor, but all menu I have tried so far was definitely great.If you would like to try high-quality sushi, there is a special section of the menu. It is bit pricy, but worth to try if you are a sushi fan.Service is good enough that you can have a good time.This place is for friends and/or for a date.Kid-friendliness: no

The sushi was great but you know that a place is overpriced when a 6-piece salmon avocado is $13. We liked the sushi but it’s possible to find the same quality at much lower prices elsewhere. The service was good.

So I am a fan of this restaurant. Go to it all the time. Today was the first time ordering via GrubHub. Order total, with tip, was $115 for 3 rolls and one small appetizer. So not cheap, but fine as I like quality. The order arrives and inside the bag is the food, a bag with napkins, a tray for soy sauce and 10 packets of soy sauce. No Chopsticks.It's ok. Things happen. We eat with our hands, and the food, to be clear, was delicious.Being a business owner myself, I give them a courtesy call to let them know this happened. This is where the trouble begins. The man that answered the phone was SUPER rude. Asked me my name to look up the order and said that I didn't check the box on GrubHub asking for condiments.To which I explained I did not see such a box. But if that was the case, why did they provide soy sauce, as that is a condiment?To which he said, and I quote - 'It's Sushi, you have to have soy sauce'.My issue is 3 fold.1 - I was very nice and understanding calling to extend a courtesy. I did not need nor deserve an attitude.2 - blaming me for not checking a box I did not see.3 - then irrationally explaining that I should check condiments, and being upset with me for pointing out that I clearly didn't see nor check the box, but why did they in fact then provide condiments?He is right though...it is sushi. Why they don't provide chopsticks automatically when they are already providing soy sauce is beyond me.Regardless...don't need the attitude.I will not be going back there due to the attitude.

We had a fantastic experience at Fuji. Group of 4 of us. Food was exquisite, service excellent and price is very reasonable (for Boston!) we’ll be back!

Just came back from Fuji Ink Block after leaving another place where the food was less than ideal, me and my sister made our way there and were seated immediately. From the decor to the service by Ming, it was fantastic. He was so attentive that he even made my green tea stronger upon asking. The fried calamari was superb, very light and well seasoned. On his recommendation I had some sushi I forgot the name of and it was so good.We even got to try their new dessert not yet on the menu and I can tell you the chocolate lovers will die for.Overall it was a fantastic experience.Thank you Ming, your service was amazing.

Ordered a take out and they made my roll wrong. It was disgusting. No flavor for a $30 roll brown avocado on it. When I called to complain the guy on the phone said as so rude. Maybe you should train your staff if you want to charge $28-$50 for a god damn roll.

Had an indulgent NYE dinner here and had the toro nigiri sampler, the A5 wagyu caviar nigiri, the toro nigiri, scallop nigiri, avocado maki, and salmon belly nigiri. I was pleased with everything and it was all very fresh. The wagyu was so good I almost ordered two rounds of it but I ended up doubling up on the salmon belly nigiri instead because it was my favorite. My server was engaging and helpful with her recommendations and the presentation of everything was great. I will surely be back.
