Dropped by this place to take a look at some cowboy hats. This little shop was excellent. Store owner and young lady was welcoming and chatted with me about hat options. Very knowledgeable! I'll be back to pick up some boots.

I went to Helen's Leather Shop to see if they could refurbish a western belt that my husband bought on a family trip to New Mexico a few decades ago. My husband loved the belt and wore for years until it finally gave out. Greg actually knew the person who created it and arranged for this leather crafter to refurbish it. I gave my husband the belt as a Christmas present and he was so surprised and pleased! Thanks Greg!!

The owner helped me size a pair of boot as I brought in all my boots to see what he thought. Then lo and behold I saw a belt I wanted to buy elsewhere and I bought it from Helen's. He gave me free advice on my boots and I'll definitely be coming back! Thanks so much!

Nice shop, friendly service, but limited in selection and a bit pricey. Worth visiting if you enjoy receiving good friendly service.

I found a beautiful black belt that I really wanted, but it had a nickel buckle which I’m allergic to. Greg was very kind to make numerous phone calls to find a brass or stainless steel buckle for me but found no luck, as the buckle has rare dimensions.I greatly appreciated his effort, because he knew I didn’t want just any belt from the store. He also did not push me to buy the belt before I had the right buckle, since he knew this was going to be an investment piece.I recommend shopping local in general for leather accessories if you can, since the craftsmanship/quality is top tier and staff aren’t t obnoxious.Thank you, Greg!

First time in Boston, got this amazing little shop recommended by hotel staff. Got me a nice leather jacket, cowboy hat and belt. The quality of craftsmanship is top notch. Greg was such a great host, he explained to me in details about the family owned company that makes jackets and answered all of my questions. Really great and genuine guy! Do not buy anything in Macy's or from those overpriced designers, the quality they have in Hellen's leather is top of the line. I'll come by next year for sure.

I really enjoyed wandering into this place today. I came out with a new straw cowboy hat that I'll really enjoy. The manager really knows his stuff and was very nice and helpful. Fun experience! I'd love to return next time I'm in Boston. I love Western wear and this place didn't disappoint!
