Do not rent from here. Our car was filthy, covered in dirt, including the rearview mirrors, so much that we couldn't safely see in the mirror. The car stank like fake scent chemicals, giving us both headaches. They charged me over $400 for a $78+tax rental agreement, for a cleaned car filled with gas. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone to dispute these charges, so I am having to dispute the charges with my credit card company. HORRIBLE BRANCH.

So horrible. I felt like I was in a hellish version of the DMV. I have had the misfortune of dealing with them a few times now. Honestly it is hilarious how bad this place is at doing their job. I love going in and seeing a line of angry customers and hearing/seeing multiple employees in the back room just chatting while 1.employee was handling the customers. This time I went because they hadn't responded to my lost and found request. Why the blonde manager refuses to come out of the back room and insists that her employee play the worst middle man possible is beyond me. And to have the gall to get mad at me because I wouldn't move over after having waited 40 min just for someone to check the lost and found. She was gone for less than a minute and said they didn't have it. She had so much attitude and I don't think she checked st all. Why couldn't the employee go check? If this manager was the only person who could check why did I have to wait that long? Why are 3 employees chilling the back when you have a line of 6+ people? Why are yall doing this to us?!?!?! My gosh get it together or find a new job if you are so damn miserable.

They give you the keys for a return time where the agency is closed, with no drop-off option. So you cannot drop the car and need to come back next day. This is crazy customer service !

Walked in to ask for some information. Very rude staff. Unhelpful and unmotivated. I was basically sent away to serve the customers waiting as I was “only asking for some information”. Tourists trap, as the prices they offer are much higher than online. Avoid this car rental.

The Hertz, dollar, and Thrifty car rentals at this location are not run efficiently and the customer service is abysmal.1) We had a rental scheduled far in advance for an 8am pick up. Despite no line to wait in we did not receive our car until 9am, having to wait for the Thrifty employee to arrive, which never happened. The manager had to come out (after 45 minutes of waiting) and get us set up with a car.2) When we received the car it was only half-filled. When we returned it they hadn’t take note of that. It was a good thing we took pictures of the dash when we first got in the car.3) The manager assured us we had a “manager’s discount” but failed to explain what that meant or what was included.4) We were told to bring the car in at 12pm instead of 9am on our drop off date, free of charge. We were not given verification and this wasn’t officially put on our ticket/receipt. We had to call customer service to add an internal note which caused slight problems when the manager finally came to clear our account and check us out.5) They fail to pick up their phones even if you call 10 times.Only gave a 2nd star because the actual car was good quality and free of any problems.Long story short, if you rent from here be prepared to stand up to the manager and employees who attempt to overcharge you. Or I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

I have been renting cars for years and this has been by far the worst experience. I went to this location with questions about charges and asked to speak with the manager. Not only did the manager give a big eye roll when called up, she refused to give me her name. It's was the most unfriendly "manager" interaction I've had in a while. All attitude, no help. This small nameless manager obviously hates her job and has not been trained properly in customer service. My issue was not resolved. Hertz as a whole has bad customer service, but this branch and manager are on another level of bad.

When my husband and I arrived to this Hertz location two Saturdays ago, reservation in hand, we were told that it would be a 45 minute to receive a vehicle. And all I could think of was that classic Seinfeld scene. I have never felt more like Jerry than in that moment and just had to think ‘you know how to take the reservation, but you don’t know how to keep the reservation. Which is the point of the reservation!’Frustrating to say the least, with the Boston airport location being a quick 15/20-minute drive away, I would expect that there would be some level of planning and preparation to move the necessary inventory to the appropriate locations to ensure that reservations can be fulfilled per customer demand.Additionally, we found the staff, especially the manager, to be incredibly snide and unprofessional as she made a comment on our way out, once we had eventually received our car (45 minutes after our scheduled reservation) and said ‘see wasn’t that bad.’ After this delay had already made us late for our event!Overall, it was a bad experience for us and I will not be booking with Hertz again in the future if I can help it.

I am a new business member andnon my first rental at this location. It was a long wait, but the staff communicated clearly and regularly. In the end, my reservation was upgraded for my patience.

Don’t ever book a vehicle here. I never go out of my way to write a bad review and just brush it off but what I experienced was a whole different level of unprofessionalism. I arrived to pick up my vehicle and was told that I could only get an electric vehicle and if I wanted to pay for a gas operated vehicle, I had to pay a significant amount extra on top of what I had already paid. The electric vehicle was never mentioned in my rental agreement but we were running short on time so I just bit the bullet and paid for the SUV on top of what I had already paid for. When I returned the vehicle, the lot was completely full so I had to park on a different floor of this sketchy garage. Their offices were closed so I called in the morning. No answer at all. I’m calling again today multiple times and no one is answering. What is the point of having a phone and on top of that you have multiple people working at the front desk? I have not been contacted or received anything via email. My card has been charged every day because they probably haven’t confirmed the vehicle is still in the lot. I called corporate and they said they would release the vehicle. I’m sure corporate did their part but the workers here are lazy and unreliable. Save yourself the energy and just pick up your rental at the airport. It’s not worth the headache. I still haven’t been able to get in contact with any of the staff to let them know that the vehicle has been returned.

We reserved a car, but when we went to pick it up they didn't have any cars. We had to wait almost an hour before they had a car for us.

Rent a car is an easy thing, book in advance then pick the car…NOT in this one!! You have to wait almost an hour to get your car… no seat there.. they just continue to get people in.Then NO service!
