Today I went In just for a polish change I was in the area so I figured I’d take advantage. I also needed to repair one toenail that ripped. I recently had a Pedi, so my cuticles are completely clean. However there was a lady I didn’t even get her name, when upon arriving she was very rude and loud when I requested a polish change. She was really adamant that I get a pedi because I had black polish, which makes no sense. The salon had a couple of people in there so I was thinking she didn’t understand me so I used the translator to put what I wanted in Vietnamese and she continued loudly to say “you don’t care you have skin! FINE!” Continued to tell me the price as if the reason I just wanted to do a polish change was due to financial reasons which wasn’t the case at all. She Shrugged her shoulders and started to grab her things to head over to me. Her attitude and the way she spoke to me I just knew she was going to do a bad job just to prove a point. So I got up told her no thank you and that I didn’t like the way she spoke to me and I called my regular nail salon and made my way there. I’ll NEVER come back here!

Walked in off the street late afternoon and the place was totally empty. That should have been the first sign this wasn’t one of the better nail salons, but I ignored my gut feeling and stayed. I needed a gel pedicure and the technician helped me with matching the color I wanted. She did a mediocre job. When it came time to pay I asked how much the manager said $75. $75!!? That is exorbitant! No prices were posted that I saw. They told me cash, or Venmo. ( I found out they do take credit cards but didn’t offer me that option. I just wanted to get out of so I paid, leaving a tip for the poor technician who probably wasn’t trained well enough. Not the best experience and waay too pricey for what you get.

I’ve been going to Lauren’s salon for almost two years and have always been happy with my services, until now. I went in for a manicure and pedicure before my wedding last Wednesday, spending nearly 3 hours at the salon. While the pedicure was great, the manicure was a different story. It was uneven, with visible tip outlines that weren’t blended, even though I had asked for a simple French manicure with a floral design. I was polite and respectful throughout the appointment, trying to work with the manicurist, but she clearly struggled with the design. She should have communicated earlier that she wasn’t able to do it. After the appointment, I initially thought I could live with it, but once I saw my nails in natural light, I knew they weren’t acceptable. Rather than return to the same technician who had already spent so much time on my nails, I went to another salon to have them redone. I contacted Lauren the next day, sending photos and explaining the situation. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive a response. After the wedding, I followed up again today and finally received a dismissive and unprofessional reply. Instead of offering a solution or real accountability, I was offered a spa pedicure for this week only. When I asked if I could reschedule or receive a refund for the manicure, the response I got was simply, “don’t bother.”
While I’m not upset with the technicians themselves, I may have given the salon another chance, I’m disappointed by the owner’s lack of response and professionalism. When I asked if I could reschedule for a later time, or receive a refund for the manicure, I was told “don’t bother.”That’s what turned me off completely and made me feel so strongly that I needed to write this.
If this is how they respond when something goes wrong, don’t bother spending your time or money here. They clearly don’t stand by their work or value loyal clients. I never write reviews, but the way I was treated made me feel like I should speak up.

Terrible terrible gel manicure but good regular pedicure. They filed my nailed so thin they were like paper. Not to mention it broke a little. Never again

I was a walk-in and needed two nails replaced as they had fallen off. Lauren and her staff took charge and the new nails matched perfectly. I was so imressed i ran back and grabbed my daugher who is 10 and has always wanted to get french. They were able to do that and then some! While I waited, I ended up getting an awesome pedicure. We both left the salon super satisfied and will come back agin, no dount. I highly recommend Lauren's Nail Salon.

This was such a pleasant experience!! I'm visiting Boston, and after a couple of long days of walking, I knew I needed a pedicure. Google led me to another nail salon, but they were rude. The receptionist kept trying to ignore me, and another worker had to come and ask me what I needed before she booked my appointment for the next day. It honestly left such a bad taste in my mouth. Later that day, I saw this place and decided to see if I could do a walk-in. They were very inviting although it was a late Saturday evening and I was able to get into a chair immediately. I believe my techs name was Mia but she was meticulous, gentle, and very sanitary. I'm a trained nail tech and was impressed with how well she performed the service, and she was very nice. The atmosphere at the salon was also very chill and upscale, although there weren't excessive frills that shouldn't be expected at the price point. I paid $60 for my gel pedicure. Of note, too, there was a client that finished before me, and the tech that completed her nails immediately began sanitizing and disinfecting the tools he used, a really good sign. All in all would definitely recommend. Ps not too much on my toes lol they've been through a lot

Hao did an AMAZING job with my builder nail gel polish!!! And the prices are amazing. So reasonable for builder plus tips on two nails. I will be back! FYI if anyone is looking for builder nail polish he’s the only one that does it so book with him!

It took 90 minutes to do my gel toes and nails and it only lasted 3 days before my nails started chipping off. I am on holiday and have no dishes or home chores so it’s disappointing they came off so quickly. Normally my gels last two weeks plus. For $110 I feel I didn’t get much value.

I used to go to Lauren's nails and am not sure why I ever left. A few months ago I went back and met Hao. He is an amazing nail technician. My nails have gotten longer and stronger since I have been going to him. The dip stays shockingly long even my regular pedicures last so long. He is very kind and easy to get along with. He also can find the exact color I am thinking about.
