Don't get spicy salmon as protein on bowl because they will give you minced salmon...Portion not too big but it's acceptable and tasty!

I came here and got two makiritos. The portions were tiny (but I won’t expect a lot from Back Bay restaurants anyways since the incentive is to scam college students and tourists ?) and it was really not nicely made. In addition, the unagi maki that we had gotten had cold unagi, and it was the parts of the eel that were hard or usually thrown out in a sushi restaurant from my experience in the food industry. The food in general wasn’t that great in quality or portion. Disclaimer, this is by no fault of the employees (I’m sure they are lovely people and I genuinely hope they are not being exploited by management!), but the store/franchise as a whole of not living up to the quality or service of what Japanese/Hawaiian cuisine is known for. Also, to Debbie (and similar patrons) in earlier reviews, this is not Asian Chipotle.This is very much its own cuisine.Wheelchair accessibility: Seating at entrance ground level

The poke bowls here taste pretty good. The standard toppings are offered. Haven't had any issues ordering from here, but I just wish you got more bang for your buck. I prefer New Sushi for this reason.

I don’t often update reviews, but sadly the quality and experience here has just totally declined in the last year or so. (Coming from a person who ate here weekly when they first opened!) I spent $17 on a bowl yesterday with tuna that was oxidized, tasteless, and dull, unripe cucumbers, and brown avocado. My last few visits have been similar in their decline. The staff used to be so warm and friendly as you entered/exited…food was fresh and had flavor, even the poem on the wall is in disrepair. This really was my favorite little hole in the wall to enjoy a poke bowl solo or bring friends who were in town, but I’m not sure I want to be disappointed again.

Considering I live not too far from this eatery (all personal anecdotes aside) - the Which Came First bowl was nothing short of divine, with its well-arranged, exquisitely accentuated array of ingredients (eggs, chicken, mushrooms, etc.)! Without any reasonable doubt, I'd definitely consider returning sometime in the near future.

First of all, this is a store opened next to a College, the meal size should be in line with the college student's meal size can only be more and not less. The prices aren't root friendly either. Chicken is pitifully small Originally clamped three small pieces of chicken, I was confused, had to ask for more chicken (extra cost )it’s still very little. The sauces were also given very little. The ingredients are given inconsistently every time, each employee puts a different amount in, and it's really unfair for the same price.I can't be given small amounts just because I'm a girl and don't look like a big eater. That's profiling.

Although the name is "Love Art Sushi," you won't find nigiri or sashimi from trained sushi chefs here at this quick-serve, all-takeout downtown outlet. The emphasis is actually on poke bowls and "makirittos," a.k.a. hand rolls, which is all fine with me.As for the poke bowls, I'm going to go for whichever has the most fish in it - which looked like the Spicy Hawaiian to me. It proffered tuna, salmon, and shoyu tuna poke atop white sushi rice, red cabbage, jalapenos, masago, house ponzu, scallions, and sesame seeds. I'm not a fan of jalapenos anyway, so I asked to exclude them, with the result not being as spicy as I feared. Actually quite savory and yummy, much to my liking - and fairly faithful to poke bowls I've enjoyed in my many Hawai'i travels.Service is super friendly here, although sometimes they can be overly proactive in giving you too many side sauces, while at other times they can be forgetful about them. Still, a solid addition to the downtown lunch scene.Pro tip: you don't need to shove your food into the photo - or massage, fondle, or molest it - with your bare, moist, wrinkly hands and dirty fingernails. You also don't need to call attention away from the food with pointless "action" shots. Keep all body parts, plaque-laced bite marks, and distracting backgrounds out of the photo. I bought a takeout custom poke bowl with tuna and salmon but only received 5 pieces of fish in total. Very disappointed. Not worth the price. Otherwise the dressing tasted good.
