The Lucy Parsons Center is a community organized bookstore in Boston described as the best. It is a comfy store with great, relevant literature and a variety of books and resources, including many radical writers. The selection features mostly academic books, non-fiction, and many great titles. Some books can be expensive, but there are also lots of cheap, high-quality options. The staff are noted as kind, helpful, and nice. The space has great general vibes and also hosts events like movie screenings.
I’m amazed still at the things this bookstore does for others 🙏❣

Great place, great people. The volunteers can be a little shy sometimes but they’re good people. Great selection of leftist literature

Awesome bookstore with great readings covering a wide variety of topics, including class, race, gender, and imperialism. They also have multiple monthly events geared towards the community and are highly involved in supporting local groups and movements. Highly recommend supporting them.
