It’s hard to beat a stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The attention to detail is absolutely incredible! Something I so appreciate when I stay. You’ll see in my photos how they organize your items when you leave. I’m organized, not that organized. Each time you walk into your room they make sure it is a place where you feel like you can relax. We came in on a cole rainy day and they sent hot chocolate up to our room for us and our kids. There was a nice chocolate gift waiting for us, and each day after! They organize your cords and give you screen cleaners if they notice a device with a unclear screen. The list continues. If you want to feel completely pampered when you are in Boston, stay at the Mandarin Oriental.Nearby activities: The hotel is connected to the Prudential center (mall and very tall building with great views you can pay to go to the top of). It is located on Back Bay surrounded by great shopping and restaurants.Walkability: You are surrounded by shops, entertainment, and food. Hard to beat the location unless you are looking for a specific place in Boston to be next to.Noteworthy details: Go to the spa, it’s free with your stay and has a luxury hot tube and steam shower.

Had a perfect stay in Boston at the Mandarin Oriental! The hotel is right in the heart of Back Bay with plenty of sightseeing within walking distance. Ramsay’s Kitchen was a great dining experience, especially the cocktails. Paul the concierge went above and beyong and got us VIP seats at TD garden for the Celtics game, what a great experience. Thank you Paul and all the team at Mandarin Oriental, we’ll be back!

Lausiana was so gracious as soon as we walked in. She took care of everything and made the check in process seamless. The wine and chocolates in our room were absolutely stunning and delicious. We celebrated my friend's bday and they sent up chocolate cake and coffee for us as we got ready for dinner. Also can we talk about the beds and sheets. So silky and soft. I can't wait to go back.

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and comfortable beds. I want to give a huge shout out to Kevin, the front desk manager, who helped me with my check in. The staff are fantastic and I highly recommend the hotel.

I had the best spa day ever last month, and I have been to many spas worldwide. I cannot wait to return. Everything from the 5 star facilities, superb and friendly front desk, massage therapists, steam room, wellness pool and luxurious rooms, was absolutely breath taking. Will be a repeat customer for the near future.Noteworthy details: The lounge, workers, professional and ethical mannerisms, pristine service.

We recently spent the weekend at the Mandarin Oriental, and it exceeded our expectations. I was pretty unfamiliar with this hotel chain, so really didn’t know what to expect, but everything about our stay was wonderful. The only problem I experienced at any point was some issues with booking the hotel early on. I’m glad that I stuck with it though, because our entire stay was excellent. We reserved the premier king bedroom, and were surprised to find it was much bigger than expected with a large oversized tub and shower in the bathroom. The weekend we were there was very cold in Boston, so it was nice that the hotel is connected to the Prudential Center mall which gave us options for dining and shopping without having to go outside all the time. There are also several great restaurants all around this neighborhood, making it easy to step out for a nice meal without having to trudge through the weather for long.Rooms: Our room was better than expected. Large, spacious, and had many luxury amenities. We never heard anyone else on our floor, or even noticed there were other people staying there. It was very quiet and relaxing.Nearby activities: There are many nearby restaurants, shopping options, and activities without having to venture far at all.Walkability: With so many options nearby, you can walk to pretty much any activity as long as the weather is decent. Of course, being in Boston, the weather sometimes isn’t decent. So, it’s a good idea to hop into an Uber at times too.

The afternoon tea here is SO GOOD -- the lobby leaves a lot to be desired as far as ambiance (compared to other hotels and their more cozy settings), but it was a great experience for me and my girlfriends to celebrate one of their birthdays. Lots of variety in desserts and fancy teas.
