I highly recommend this used bookstore. Well-organized displays of books, spacious, clean, and very pleasing layout (how often is that the case with a bookstore?!). Books are reasonably priced (most I checked the prices on were $7-$8 for like-new hardcover). I found several books I wanted, all in new or almost new condition, which seems to be mostly what they stock. The music section alone is a remarkable collection of books. Fiction section, although not huge, was also of a diverse selection. The staff is very and friendly and helpful, and let me give a special shout-out to Jocelyn for all the assistance she provided on a recent visit. They also carry some previously owned clothing, and other gift items, although I was sorry not to have more time to browse those items. All it's all for a good cause. Will be back.

Excellent service...I was just there to drop off sturdy boxes, and I was glad they accepted them!

Was looking for a place to donate books and came across More Than Words. Despite being in a tricky location, they made it easy with great signage and parking spots (a rarity in Boston)! Inside, it's a charming, magical, community-like store with much more than just books - great gifts, clothes, etc. We should all support!

This is a very nice bookstore with an interesting selection of new and used books. Theres also stationery, clothing, and personal care products. They support an important cause by employing youth to run the store.

This is a wonderful bookstore, larger than I imagined. As my daughter would say, this place is a vibe. High ceilings, tons to explore. The staff are friendly and there is a great selection as well. They actually sell thrifted clothes there as well and a small collection of purses and shoes. The bookstore has a good selection and an area where they sell gifts, which include tote bags, candles, stationary, and some kids stuff. There is even a rack with quite an array of vinyl records. My kids usually get bored in these places quickly, but they spent quite a while looking around and exploring. Some books are used and you can find quite a lot for a great price- which is very hard to do in Boston. They support a great cause as well. Also there is a box outside for donations.Check it out if you are in the area to support a great cause and find some cool things!

I love this bookstore! I plan on buying all my books here in the future. The cause that they are standing for is important. Helping at risk youth and gender rights. All good!

Visited this place today. They get donations of clothing and books and sell them to them support programs which teach at-risk youth to run businesses.

I am biased because I work here. But usually that means a bad review. I just generally loved the bookstore when I went in to look for a job. I chose to work in the store itself because of it. Very great people behind the scenes and in my opinion the books are a great price. I will say the clothing is a little pricey for being thrift but it is not over the price of regular clothing. And there are regular sales if you look out for them. I recommend everyone visit sometime because not only is it a great store but it also helps a lot of people, and smaller businesses. I would also recommend asking about what the nonprofit is and does while in the store. It's good to know where your money is going to in this situation. They have helped me out massively in the past few months as a child in DCF custody.

Wonderful bookstore / boutique of second hand clothes. Everything here aims toward a good cause and justice. I love it here. And they do have a lovely reading place. Just bring your coffee and chill there. The staff is kind and helpful too.

I left my lululemon expensive yoga mat after an event, I called over 5 times the second I left no answer. I emailed, left voicemails. No answer. They knew I was coming back for it, my friend left it with them for me to come back and get. My dad showed up 2 days later and they told him they donated it. I’m deeply disappointed and they should be paying me back for this, they claimed there is a 24 hour only lost and found but I made it clear I was coming back for it
