A relaxing place with very good prices on notebooks and stationary. There are places to sit for a while and aromatic diffusers for a nice atmosphere. The clothes are too expensive for my taste, however.

Black Friday clothes are 30% off. This is a clothing store that you will visit abroad. They also sell some dry instant bags.

We visited Muji Boston on 11/03. They started to close the store at about 7:45 PM (15 minutes before official time). At 7:50, the manager told us we were late and couldn't pay for our purchases. She was very rude talking to us (actually, she was screaming) saying that. I asked her for her name but was rudely told that it was not my business. Other workers were very polite but also didn't give me the manager's name. I'm going to contact Muji customer service to let them know about Muji Boston's manager's unaccepted behavior.

I'm a fan of Muji. Shopping in Muji ??? is a great experience along with aesthetic satisfaction of minimalistic items and setting. The store smells nice, thanks to the natural humidifier scents. Low prices and high quality items are a positive feturea in the store. I love the Wabi Sabi, zenish ????vibe of the store. Highly recommended.

Wide mix of department store stuff - plain clothes, lots of pens and paper, overpriced luggage, kitchen and bedroom stuff. Only one cashier despite a long line.

Love Muji but I ran all the way from the Pru to ensure I made it to this store 30 mins before the stated closing time just to find the doors locked already and two sales people glaring annoyedly at me through them. It would have taken me exactly 5 mins to grab what I needed and pay for it, which would still have been 25 minutes before the closing time posted on the door and on Google. If you want people to not come into the store to shop in the last hour before closing so your employees can cash up and go home, then state the closing time as an hour earlier.

The only Muji store in Boston, and only few Muji stores left the in USA as most of them are permanently closed. Located in the hip area of Newbury street. Collections are so limited and a lot of stuff are not available. Prices are not competitive compared to other Muji in other countries.

If you like Japanese products, stationery and beyond, you need to visit a Muji store at least once. Very good quality products overall.

Very clean and unique store the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because they have very strong incense machines and I cant stay in the store for that long because of them.

Shopped there for some new school supplies. Some of this may be my own fault, but I thought I had bought ruled notebooks, but instead they were blank. I should have looked better at them, but in my defense you could not tell the difference between ruled and blank without taking a good look at the label (which has very fine print and is very complicated) or opening them. Additionally, the colored gel pens were not organized by size. I thought I had grabbed 0.5mm pens, but got a few 0.38mm's in there, even though they were all next to each other. Some of them were also missing their ballpoint caps, meaning that they were used on the testing pad, and had lower ink levels than the capped pens. What I would do is mark the shelf for notebooks with blank, ruled, dotted, grid, etc, clearly label the pen sizes (the only way you could find the size was on the pen itself) on the outside of the pen display case, and make sure they aren't mixed with other sizes, and keep the pens used for the testing pad separate from the ones customers buy. Besides that, it was a good shopping experience. Very high quality.

I love all the stationary and home items. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but they are also highly functional and of much use in daily life. If you're going to Newbury Street, I recommend stopping by here.
