Can’t beat the location, was centrally located close enough to walk everywhere we wanted. Staff was attentive and helpful. Room was small but had everything necessary. Nest toiletries was a nice surprise.

We had a great time at Omni Parker House.Pros:- The hotel is full of history. We love all the interesting details.- Everyone is super helpful in the most straightforward way. It might sound odd, but everything just makes sense. The front desk was so informative, telling us everything we need to know, including how to spend the drinking ticket and the $10 restaurant credit. They reminded us to get enough bottled water but told us to come to get more if we needed. After we checked out, they reminded us to grab two bottles of water again.- Servants in the lobby area were attentive. They paid attention to everything around and offered help once they felt like you needed anything.- Again, they really wanted to help. We wanted to use the drinking ticket but needed to wait. The lady told us we could just drink in the lobby if we wanted, or we could just bring the drinks back to the room. We had no time to use the $10 restaurant credit, and the gentleman said why not just grab a cream pie to go, just $10. We had no cash but wanted to tip, but he kindly declined and smiled, and told us just to give him the $10 card and he brought us the pie.Cons:- the room is small, especially the bathroom. But it's an old hotel full of history, so the size was expected. It is the smallest bathroom I've ever had.- the real and only complaint I had was the water pressure from the shower. It was very weak.

I can’t say enough great things about our stay here! We arrived in the wee hours of the morning due to a delayed flight and we were still greeted with helpful, friendly staff. The hotel is stunning and dated but it’s supposed to be! It’s the oldest operating hotel in the U.S! The service has been impeccable. The location is central is everything - Boston Common, on the Freedom Trail, Chinatown, the North End, everything! The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. We spent more to get a bigger room and were very thankful we did. No complaints here! It’s been lovely!

One of the most memorable hotels I have stayed in to date.Walkability: Very well located, it allowed you to see Boston's main attractions in 3 days, practically everything on foot.Noteworthy details: Parking is a bit expensive, but it gives peace of mind.

The hotel overall has a classy feel. The EMPLOYEES are very attentive to guests and very friendly (which kinda' even tells you it must be nice to work there.)THE ROOMS are adequate but they are small. And if you have one of those bathroom travel containers that has a hook to hang on a door - you want to pack that because the BATHROOM has a pedestal sink and no countertop at all so - no space for your stuff.HOT WATER is very hot and comes right away and plenty of pressure. The AC/HEAT was responsive and kept the room a good temperature but it was unusually loud and inconsistent. It did not have the option for the fan to stay on constant so it was on and off all night and woke me up a bit.Noteworthy: They invented BOSTON CREAM PIE here! So get some while you're there! There is a GIFT SHOP/COFFEE SHOP in the lobby which has useful stuff. We were traveling from FL to the frigid north and I was a little unprepared and they had hats/gloves/scarves in the gift shop. Handy! The coffee shop is a Starbuck's so you can easily get decent coffee in the morning since the in-room coffee is typical hotel coffee. There are grab-and-go wraps, sandwiches and pastries in the coffee shop as well. There is a WALGREEN'S right next door to the hotel, also. Also if you are traveling for youth sports - the TAP WATER in the hotel is actually good. You can fill your water bottles there.Safety: I felt very safe in this hotel and this area of the city.Walkability: It's in a good area so you can just walk anywhere from the hotel - we did while we were there. Traffic is so bad it's faster just to walk than to try to drive, anyway.

The hotel manager and historian of this hotel are the best kind of people. They went out of their way to make my teen, who has a keen interest in this hotel, feel so special. We are local to Boston and stayed here to experience it and get the history book. It was such a great experience and we loved the museum downstairs, the rooms, the décor, and the giant mirrors and portraits. The Parker House is a real treasure. <3

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and there's a charming vintage vibe throughout the hotel. History enthusiasts will appreciate the Charles Dickens' mirror in the mezzanine, as well as the collection in the lobby. However, be prepared for some nightly hallway noises, often misconstrued as part of the haunted tales surrounding the hotel.Rooms: Not the place for a modern, clean aesthetic; it's unabashedly old-fashioned. If you appreciate vintage charm, this hotel is a must-visit.Nearby activities: Situated along the Freedom Trail and conveniently near various T line stations, this hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and attractions.Safety: Very safe, but be cautious at night.Walkability: Ideal for a swift city tour. Plenty of attractions within a ten minute walking distance, including the Boston Commons and Faneuil Hall.Food & drinks: You can visit the hotel's own dining room and restaurant via the lobby.Noteworthy details: For those intrigued by haunted tales, the hotel has its share of stories. Midnight noises, often mistaken for ghostly echoes, seem more likely the creaks and groans of an aged establishment. The singing gentleman outside my room on my first night there, with an old-fashioned accent is likely an eccentric character, not a ghostly presence.

I am very surprised this hotel has as many stars as it does. I stayed here for 4 nights on business. The hotel room was very small and grimy. There was hair on the floor and someone’s eye contact stuck to the bathtub, there was mascara on the robe when I went to use it, the sheets had holes in them, there was no fitted sheet just a loose one tucked over a dirty mattress, the AC unit left a gap to the outside where you could actually see the outside so my room was freezing and the AC actually went out at one point but they fixed it promptly, there was no mini fridge as promised and I needed it for breast milk however they brought one up to my room quickly, a light bulb was out in the bathroom (not a big deal on that one) It is a beautiful hotel from the outside and the staff was great but it desperately needs updates and better cleaning/new beds and beddings.

All went well until I got home and awaited my refund ($75 x 2 days = $150.00) back into my bank account. Have yet to receive my coins. I visited Feb. 17th thru Feb. 19th of this year. Hope this is an oversight. And yes, I have called on three separate occasions. BHRooms: Small but quaintFood & drinks: American cuisine was decent

If these rooms were 150$, you could overlook the peeling paint, the chipped EVERYTHING, the faded carpets, the poor yet overpriced food, the smell or the general aesthic of a crumbling 1940s hotel that can't be bothered to provide a room fridge. But for 275$+ a night, this place can only deserve a big fat zero. Stay at any hotel remodeled this century, save yourself a disappointment from looking at plaster painted to resemble mahogany beams.

This was my first time in Boston. This hotel is in the heart of Downtown. The location was great because everything is with in walking distance. The staff and restaurants were amazing. The staff gave us complimentary water and were very helpful and even took our bags for us. I will be staying more often because my son will be going to Suffolk University.
