I was referred to Dr Lou by my opthamologist and have been seeing him for the last 5-6 years. I have never had one bad expericence with him or his staff. I find him to be very detail, thoughtful, personable and i would not hesitate to reccomend him to anyone. I am surprise with the bad reviews here but again the sample size here is quite small!

I went to this Doctor 11 or 12 years ago because I needed a laser treatment on my right eye due to my diabetes. He was rude and insensitive. The treatment hurt like hell and I told him, it kept making me jump, that’s how bad it hurt. He did way to much of the laser treatment and now I have a permanent blind spot on my right eye that will never go away. I was told that from 2 great eye doctors I have now. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I probably would not have my sight were it not for Dr. Joseph Murphy (NY) and his quick actions in referring me to Dr Foster(MA) I cannot Thank either of them enough for what they have given to me!!

This doctor is the worst ever. A total j**** When I asked him routine questions, he would say he's not God or it's my fate that my eye went bad. He couldn't even be bothered to be sensitive or professional. If I need God, I would go to church. He should not be seeing patients given the bad attitude or lack of professionalism.

I called Dr. Lou New Year's day. Spoke to Amy at his answering service. His response was immediate and his attention to my issue was incredible. I am a 46+ year diabetic and have been his patient for 20+ years. I have always been thrilled with his professionalism and expertise..Chris
