We thanks for toiletry : soap, toothpaste, and more, but one thing to be aware of is drinking water, their water made me sick. I am sick, I got food poisoning. How can they run such saying they are helping when they are killing? May they fix this issue, I don’t know if their food too is the same. Enjoy your meal! But I am sick. Lastly, another issue is fantoms.

Incredible! This should be a learning station for all of these type places in the USA. Half the people that work there are just super sweet, kind, gracious professional and the other half well kind of regular

Pine Street helped me so much. They helped me get back into housing and I can't appreciate them enough. So the negative comments can be solved. Here's how: get a storage unit! Point blank..some people bring Alllllllllll there belongings. No no no. They are not a storage place and the lockers are but so big so be smart and plan for a storage unit close by. First month is free. Second. The food may not always be the best but it's survivable. Get your food stamps turned on and simply eat at Wholefoods- 2nd issue solve. 3 rd ..mind your business and keep ear plugs handy for gross snoring people. If you are the person snoring, then use common sense and get snoring strips so you are atleast being considerate. 5 th let's not be so silly to think that staff is there to befriend us. They must stay alert when ish goes down and are there for our protection, not to be NICE, but to be cordial. I never ever had a problem with staff. When I witnessed others who did have issues, they were acting up or needed attention and found themselves getting bad attention and of course choose to share that negative experience with everyone. Bluh, spare us!!!!! PineStreet helps where needed...point blank. Be smart, be proactive, even if you're using.......

Deeply disappointing and frustrating.
I followed staff directions on how to store my belongings, and everything I owned was thrown out without warning. Most of the staff—mainly Haitian—were cold, dismissive, quick to anger, and consistently rude to me, while openly joking and bonding with each other and Haitian residents. The favoritism was obvious and isolating. Every single morning, they slammed doors in the sleeping area while people were still trying to rest. That wasn’t an accident—it was daily, and it showed a complete lack of care or basic professionalism. Younger female staff were also often openly rude—wish that kind of behavior got called out more. Only the case workers seemed competent and kind. Unfortunately, they weren’t the ones you dealt with most of the time.
Don’t bury this review with fake positive ones or kill it by mass clicking ‘report’—face it.

I was at The Pine Street Inn. Summer 2001, before September 11, I lived in there transitional housings. Tried looking for work. Almost had one, but I couldn't wake up. People there were so Stuck up, not nice at times. I was finally happy to leave that July 2001, to go home. I was thankful for some people I had meet there. But I still felt the Coldness from the other people. I do understand.

I would give this Shelter Negative Stars, If I could, because I'm 10 weeks Pregnant, but another client Assaulted me (knowing that I'm Pregnant), So I told the Supervisor, Paulette and all she did was talk to the other client, but Paulette kicked me out for calling the Police because I was assaulted from another client and nothing was done with her. I ended up going to the Hospital and they found bruises on me, where the Client hit me at. Paulette even told me if I wanted to Call the Police, Go ahead. So that's what I did.

They talk to everyone like their children they will have you running in circles in order to “earn” your bed. Only met 2 people who talk to me like a human being. Some employees pretend they dont see you when your ringing the bell to get in from the cold.
