I don't know how they got so many good reviews, my experience was very bad. My 2014 Honda CR-V was squeaky and I got concerned. I made an appt at the service dept, the lady on the phone said the diagnosis would cost $175. When I arrived, the service rep said it's actually $199, UghHe advised me to go home since it would take them several hours to check the car. I did not feel like wasting time and money on Uber back and forth, so I stayed at the waiting room, where I could have coffee and work on my laptop (for a limited time since there are no outlets). After about 1.5 hr (good thing I stayed there), the guy showed me a list of things that needed to be replaced, at a cost of almost $5,400. That would practically mean a total loss since it's more than half the value of the car. He 'kindly' suggested trading the car in and getting financing to buy a new car...He said I needed to replace all 4 tires, which was clearly a lie. I replaced the tires last year, and they're still deep and fine. The main issue was replacing the driveshaft (which was rusty and squeaky): they quoted $3,738 for that.Seeing all the obvious red flags, I left the dealership and took the car to a neighborhood mechanic. He confirmed that the driveshaft needed replacement and did it the next day for $1,150. That's 1/3 of the price at the dealership (!!) and he did provide a warranty for a year.Things like this make me lose faith in any car dealership. As if they don't make enough profit on car sales (with big mark-ups and exorbitant fees), they also take advantage of people's distress and rip them off at the service dept, or lure them to trade in and buy a newer car.Overall- unreliable, dishonest, greedy, misleading, predatory, SMH ?

So disappointed in my first experience trying to purchase a car from this dealership!!My dad scheduled an appointment to go to the dealership to see this car we were interested in on 1/24/2024 for 6:30 pm. I called the day before to confirm that the car was still there and available, and the representative who answered the phone call confirmed it as well as told me I could’ve came in that same day (1/23/2024) but I decided to wait until the appointment instead. So we rushed to get off of work, drove all the way to the dealership. The lady first told us that Marisol had just got in, then took my ID and then said that Marisol actually wasn’t in all day, which was who scheduled the appointment. Then told us the car was already sold TWO DAYS AGO. The manager showed no sympathy that we followed the correct procedures of making an appointment, showing up ON TIME, and then finding out the car that was STILL POSTED ONLINE THAT WAS AVAILABLE, has been sold and no one notified us. I am completely upset and frustrated with the lack of communication, sympathy, or even problem solved any support after the inconvenience. Very disappointed in the Customer Service I received! Wouldn’t recommend anyone booking with them after this experience!!

This was my first experience buying a car from a dealer and I have to admit I was pretty nervous. But as soon as I met Stephanie, our sales person, I realized it was going to be fine. She was calm, informative and patient with all of our questions. She has been very reliable and professional throughout the process. She has exceptional communication skills and is fluent in spanish as well. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to buy a car.I also had a very positive experience with Omar from finance. He took the time to explain the process, listened to my concerns and made me feel like I could trust him. Overall I had an excellent experience.-Lindsay D.

Wonderful Place to buy a car. I was looking for a new car and first went next door to Parkway Toyota and was interested in buying a car from there but the sales associate I had was rude and in my opinion unprofessional. I decided to go next door to parkway Honda and had THEE best experience Stephanie Cruz was helpful, extremely professional, and her customer service exceeded my expectations. I settled on car and she walked me through the whole entire process. Elizabeth Vargas is also so extremely helpful I was waiting for my license to come in the mail and she guided me through the process and helped me get in my car a bit quicker. I’m so extremely thankful to both of these ladies and know when it’s time to purchase my wife’s car this would be the first place we’d look.

Had a good time negotiating and discussing my options for a new 2024 Honda HRV. I worked with Peter and he was able to get me what I wanted at a rate and price that suited my budget. Peter was professional and timely with his communication. The manager was also very friendly and willing to help and approve what was needed to make a deal. Can’t recommend enough. Thanks Peter and management team!

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at this dealership. After coming to an agreement on the price of a car and even shaking hands with a sales representative, I was shocked to be told the next day that the vehicle had been sold. This turn of events was completely unexpected and left me feeling deceived and mistreated. What's more, the sales person’s sudden refusal to proceed with the sale because I intended to finance the car through my own bank, rather than using their financing options, was a clear breach of trust and fairness in what should have been a straightforward business transaction. This behavior is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the professionalism and integrity one would expect from a reputable dealership. It is evident that the dealership's actions were deceptive and displayed a lack of respect for potential customers. As a result of my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this Honda Dealership to others. I hope that by sharing my story, others can be spared from similar treatment.

Exercise caution when working with this dealership. This is coming from a former customer of theirs. Very poor customer service here. If you ever want to cancel your Vehicle Service Contract, expect to the get the runaround. I finally took my problem to a competing Honda dealership to get what I needed accomplished. There they told me of Parkway’s reputation and how the business has changed ownership hands multiple times. Buyer beware here.

Dont listen to the service department!! They wanted me to replace nearly everything on the car (about 7k worth of repairs). Prices were unreal! 4 spark plugs swapped for about $380 (the plugs are like $10) . Suggested new battery which had never been an issue. Denied extra service outside the scheduled oil change. Went to leave and the battery wasnt connected securely and right after I had battery issues and issues with the terminal.Long story short, went in for an oil change , they suggest 7k in repairs (which I denied) and the car has never driven worse since taking it in. No battery issue until I brought it in and no terminal issue until they messed with it.

I had a great experience! Paul and Ray worked extremely hard to get me and my boyfriend into a new car. It was stress free and way easier than anyone could ever expect. I highly recommend you not only come to Honda but come find these two individuals.

This is Mabel A with an update. I'm unable to edit my previous review. The general manager recently responded to my Google review and decided to lie about what took place here. He claimed they didn't sell me a car with a recalled part but then a couple paragraphs later says they replaced it. He alleges my alternator belt wasn't broken despite them not being the ones who fixed it. He claims that the problems I had were because of dead keyfob batteries. He claims they don't get regularly reported to the AG office for scamming customers.Great...cool... but the problem is I can prove every single thing I've claimed. They did in fact sell me a car with a cracked alternator belt which is why it was repaired. I went to McGovern because Parkway Honda kept changing keyfob batteries instead of reinspecting the car. They only agreed to actually inspect the car AFTER my belt was changed. They refused to reinspect the car TWICE instead insisting my issues were caused by keyfob batteries. I not only have a witness I also have the receipt that states Parkway had to change my push start button and that it happened because it was a recalled part and part of an extended warranty. It was recalled in 2020 and Honda even sent out letters to owners. The mediator at the AG office is the one who told me they get reported VERY often. I have the proof it's not a he said she said situation. How did Honda miss a broken/cracked alternator belt, a recalled push start button, and AC on it's last leg in their 160+ point inspection they allegedly do on certified vehicles? Why did I pay extra money for a certified car to have these problems start the day I picked it up? Despite their lies and claims I have the receipts of exactly when and what I had my car serviced for. I have proof they eventually replaced the push start because it was a recalled part under an extended warranty. I have photographic proof that my start engine light was on. I have proof that McGovern Honda told my alternator belt required immediate attention and it was unsafe for me to be driving in the car. I have proof of every single thing. They downplay all of this as if my life wasn't in danger. As stated I will seek legal action if Honda Corporate doesn't force them to resolve this. They likely won't but I'll take this to court if I have to.Oh! I also have an email from the sales manager claiming he advised me to drive 25 miles on the highway with a broken alternator belt but I refused for no good reason. It's a lie but certainly not one that makes them look good. It's unsafe to drive that far with a broken alternator belt for one and how would I know that's what made my start engine button came on? It proves just how dishonest they are to the point they even contradict each other. I'd upload some of my proof here if I could but you can find it on Google.Very disappointing that Mike Timpone decided to lie instead of making this right after pretending he'd do something to help when we spoke. His resolution was to put me in an even more expensive car.

This dealership is shady, steer clear. Almost bought a car here until I noticed the business manager slipped an optional service contract for 3k into my deal without telling me. They gave me the runaround with excuses and tried to tell me they were “doing me a favor” ??? If you were doing well by me and adding in a warranty I could benefit from, why not tell me about it in the business office? I cancelled the deal and bought the same exact car at a different dealership with less money down and a lower payment. And I was able to get an optional warranty for way less than what Parkway was trying to charge me. Car shopping is hard enough as is without having to deal with crooks.

We had an excellent experience purchasing a certified pre-owned Honda CR-V from Parkway Honda. Joseph Serpa was our salesperson and he was great - straight forward, patient, and no pressure. The vehicle had low miles and was in top condition as confirmed by our mechanic once we had the vehicle. We got a better than our bank - Honda financing interest rate from an upfront, straight forward finance manager. We would do business with Parkway again as we felt they earned our business.

Came in for an oil change (1st time here) and some simple bulb changes and they attempted to swindle a $827 oil pan on a 2010 honda accord because the oil pan plug was "stripped". DO NOT SERVICE AT THIS PLACE!!!A good and honest business doesn't need to swindle its customers to return. That comes naturally when the service is good.By the way Advanced Auto parts have replacement oil pan plugs running from $2.49 up to $22 and so does Amazon. RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH!!!

For anyone considering buying from Parkway Honda , I'd reconsider. In short Parkway Honda deliberately sold me a "certified pre owned" car with several undisclosed safety defects.A simple list of what @Honda 's intense certified inspection missed1. A broken & rusted alternator belt2. A broken AC3. A hole that was hidden under the mat,4. A missing driver's manual5. A recalled push start buttonThey refused to reinspect the car multiple times and weren't concerned in the slightest for my safety. They did not disclose any of these problems when selling me the car otherwise I would have never bought it. I reached on to @Honda headquarters and they didn't bother replyingYes I'm getting an attorney involved since they refuse to allow a return or trade in without a $10,000 negative equity. I plan to make this issue known on every public platform as well. BBB and the FTC will be made aware as well.Go buy a Mazda or Toyota and save yourself the headache. Or at the very least don't buy from Parkway Honda.

I had a wonderful experience the other day at Parkway Honda in West Roxbury. I brought my car in for an inspection. I also had dropped my keys in between the seats and couldn't get them out!. Within minutes the young service man got them out for me!The young woman who checked me in at the service desk was so pleasant and helpful. Her name is Angie. While I was waiting for my car, I went to use the vending machine. Of course, wouldn't you know my credit card got stuck in the slot! I went to the check out desk and told them my situation. They came out with a screw driver and maneuvered it out. It was not easy but they kept working at till they finally got it out! I wish I had gotten their names! So all in all I had the best friendly and helpful service. Thankyou to all who helped me. I will return to Parkway Honda for all my service ?Mary Butler
