I was sitting there for 20 minutes and the dumbass working there came out 5 minutes to closed saying he can't help me because he didn't know I was there despite him looking me in the eye and telling me to wait. I guess they hire anybody.

I was repeatedly hung up on. On my third attempt I was transferred to a lab tech who rudely barked at me for contacting her. She said she doesn't deal with patients and I said well you're who I was transferred to, I just have a simple question whether or not you perform a test. She was extremely rude and wouldn't answer the question. I said I don't understand why you can't answer this it's a simple yes or no do you perform this test or not? At that point she just hung up on me. No reputable Hospital would associate themselves with such a unprofessional lab. Quest Diagnostic has very low ratings and it's easy to see why. If their staff is unable to answer simple questions you can expect that they would accurately perform a medical test.

I scheduled an appointment twice through the MyQuest App. However the app is faulty and neither appointment actually was made. I then had to make an appointment through the website. The first time I came (yesterday) there was a line of 8 people all waiting on standby. This was one of the cases of the appointments that I made that did not go through. I left and returned today. When I returned there were two people waiting, and a third checked in behind me. I arrived at 1:35, for my appointment at 1:50. The person who arrived after me had a 1:30 appointment and was seen before me. The two other men waiting also were seen before me. My name continuously disappeared from the board. When I arrived there was only one person working, doing blood draws, and she was not really accessible to answer questions. A second woman came in and I was able to ask her about my appointment, and explain that I was early for my appointment and was waiting. The woman who helped me was very nice but this is not a smooth operation. There is one iPad for check in, and if the people checking in in front of you in line are not tech-savvy, it can be a long wait. Morale of the story- make an appointment for earlier than you think you need. Even if you're late, you'll be seen ahead of people who arrive early for their appointment. Do not try to come without an appointment!

Results provided 3 weeks after a simple blood test. Unacceptable healthcare. This is not the first time this has happened.

Worst quest location. Only one person working there, managing desk and also doing appts/tests with people. Quest needs to have two people working at this location, one handling the desk and one handling patient tests. Everything took so much longer as there was only one individual working. If you have an appt, plan to wait at least 20 minutes/30 minutes after your appt time to even be seen. Also very disorganized - while I was there, multiple doctors office had to physically fax over a doctor order for appt even though they had already sent it because the woman working couldn't find it in the system. Appears that quests system is not the greatest. Would not recommend going here at all

Quest is astoundingly incompetent. Probably not the nursing staff of the Brighton Marine location itself, because I never had the chance to interact with them, so I am agnostic on that (I've never have a problem with front-line medical staff themselves), but Quest overall. I have very little confidence that they can do the right thing. I made an 11:45 AM appointment for February 21 (Washington's Birthday) to drop off some time-sensitive day-of home tests and have some blood drawn for further tests to qualify for a medication. I did the time sensitive tests as instructed (which spoil after a few hours hours), hopped the T and headed over. When I got there, the place was a ghost town. The building was closed and doors were locked. A security guard came up to me and asked what I was looking for and he told me that Quest was closed that day for the holiday and that people had been showing up for appointments all day. He said that he directed the stood-up patients to another lab in a nearby hospital. I called Quest and the operator directed me to another lab across town, but she couldn't confirm whether they were open because they weren't picking up their phone. So I was literally left holding the bag (of time-sensitive test samples). The callousness of taking appointments when they knew they would be closed, the lack of communication by either email or phone, and at the testing center itself, and lack of patient and customer service is appalling. I reached out by email, phone, and Twitter -both via tweet and a DM, but have yet to receive a reply from Quest. I am going to report this incident to my insurer and state regulators so that they will take appropriate action. I was later able to find a nearby center to had the testing done and to drop off my home tests, but four days later, no results, and I have no idea if my insurance will cover it at this particular Quest location (if they don't, I will refuse payment). Tip: if there are options other than Quest: take them.

Their text notification system for checking in doesn't work. I checked in at 1:19 PM, received my text to register online, filled out the registration, it's 2:26 and haven't been contacted. I'm also not able to make an appointment through their app, it says "An Unknown Error Occurred, Please Try Again after you fill out the form and click schedule." I wasn't called back until after 3pm.Overall a frustrating experience. The only redeeming quality was the phlebotomist was very nice and did a good job.

Came in for blood work and the wonderful ladies took great care of me at the Nevin street location. If you're like me and get queasy during blood work, come to this location - they will make your experience quick and painless with great bedside manner!

Dirty space... no stair access, had to take elevator up. Not inspiring confidence about cleanliness or safety

Phlebotomist wasn’t very careful. I’ve had pain and bruising for a week after just a simple blood draw.

Arrived on time for a 3:45 appointment on New Year's Eve. Their office was not to close until 4p.m. The office was locked, no one in sight. At 4:15 I noticed someone in the office. She would not respond to my knocking on the locked door, except to call out that they closed at 4p.m. Horrific place.

Dangerously crowded setup makes it impossible to stay apart from others while checking in and waiting

Was tested 8 days ago after traveling to some high impact regions of the country. When I opened a quest app account it said I would be able to check for results...still no results. I emailed the support function with the specifics and was emailed back 2 days later with a boilerplate PR statement full of crap! If you ever have an opportunity to go somewhere else, anywhere, do it!

My most recent experience with drawing my blood here lead to horrible bruising and pain after I got my blood drawn. I've gotten my blood drawn countless times in my lifetime and I've never had such a bad experience with getting my blood before. I left 2 stars instead of 1 as I normally get my blood drawn with the African American male who does a wonderful job. If possible I recommend you only do your bloodwork with him.
