I wonder what happened with my experience that differed so extremely from everyone else’s. My boyfriend got charged 40 dollars for a bouquet that would be sold at any grocery store for 12.99 and told that that was the price because of two roses in the bouquet. He was told there were no cheaper options and was very clearly ripped off of for what he was given. The owner told him he’d only get charged 35 and he received no change back either. They didn’t even bother to wrap the flowers and left them in the same plastic wrap one would receive at a grocery store. Very disappointed with the service received here.

Absolutely must buy flowers from here! The owner is 85 years old and the shop has been in operation since 1940. Beautiful legacy !

Come for the flowers. Stay for the nice old lady. I gave her a lot of business when I lived in the north end. Storefront is easily accessible from haymarket or downtown Boston in general. Cash only if I remember correctly.

No more convenient a place than this to pick up some blooms in the heart of the North End.

A downright lovely spot for walk-ins! I don't know the lady's name running the store, but I told her my budget and she quickly put together a wonderful bouquet! Thank you!

A real North End institution. This flower shop has catered to the area for close to 100 years. The owner is a very special lady. Beautiful flowers, reasonable prices and the prettiest corsages in town.

My mother-in-law ordered flowers from Romano Florist for our wedding rehearsal dinner at Lucca. She loved calling to discuss the arrangements as she said the florist was very knowledgeable and was able to create something based on her thoughts. The flowers came out beautiful!! Would definitely recommend then, thank you Romano Florist!

The woman running the store was lovely, and put together a very beautiful arrangement. I am clueless when it comes to flowers, but I just explained the situation and general price range and she was able to make the perfect bouquet.

I work in the area and stopped in for flowers for a sick friend. I now try to go every other thursday or friday. I go in with a price range and a color in mind and always walkout with a beautiful bouquet. The owner keeps threatening to retire, but I told her there would be no one in Boston to take her place.

Went in for a quick flower purchase and ended up spending 30 minutes talking to Ann. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable and knows how to make a beautiful bouquet, but she is also one of the sweetest and most hospitable people I've ever met. Best flower shop in the city.
