Prices are insane . $50 for a tray and $75 for 7 grams yeah other dispensary offers way better deals and much cheaper and top shelf items for cheaper. Never again but the area is very nice I give em that

Used to like this place, but it's definitely gone downhill in the short time it's existed, like a shiny veneer on top of a rapidly decaying idea.
The budtenders have been nice, but it's a huge red flag to me that over the course of a single year, almost the entire staff has changed.
Literally only recognize two people from when I first started shopping there.
Walked by during some of the Open Newbury events, and one of the managers is always creeping on women walking outside the store. (Apparently, he's the owner's brother?)
Also asked their employees about the profit sharing program they advertise on the company website, and they had no idea what I was talking about. (Additional red flag)
This used to be the one of the only places to buy cannabis in the area, but now there are other options for spending your money.

I had such a wonderful experience at Rooted on Newbury Street! The store itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a great selection. But what really stood out was the kindness of the staff. When I was leaving, there was a man outside the store yelling, screaming, and swinging his arms around. It was a bit scary, but the security lady immediately stepped in, stayed calm, and made sure I got out safely and away from the situation. She was so professional and caring, I felt completely protected. Rooted is not just a lovely place to shop, but also a place where they genuinely care about their customers’ safety and comfort. I can’t recommend this store enough!

Student discounts only apply on specific days of the week for some reason. Can’t go in there and get a single pre-roll, must buy two for some reason. Too many little rules.
