I had an amazing dining experience at Row 34! The atmosphere was lively and inviting, and the seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful. From the oysters to the lobster rolls, every dish was a true delight. The service was top-notch, too – attentive and friendly without being overbearing. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal!

If you truly want to do seafood, do not go here! My boyfriend and I made reservations for dinner yesterday. We regretted it. Food was bland and had minimal taste. Ordered a lobster roll, the lobster was hard and tasted weird. It should melt in your mouth, not be chewy. We left more than 80% of our plates full. Oysters were OK at best, definitely would find better at another spot. Drinks were below average. Overpriced, you do not get what you pay for. Would not recommend to anyone who has a history of eating flavorful food.

Food was well-executed, and service was great. The lobster roll was delicious, but not worth $64. I've had lobster rolls from many other places in the Boston area, and this one was the most expensive by far and had the smallest portion size. I also had the clam chowder, which had delicate flavors and tasted very fresh without being overly heavy or creamy.

Pricey but worth it. Great service. Impeccable kitchen. Tried a variety of dishes and loved them all. Sushi is good but this is definitely not a sushi restaurant. Mix of many Asian fairs. Bulgogi was great, rolls were quality. Just don't go here if you expect a big variety of raw fish...

Highly average restaurant. I ordered the fish tacos (pretty bland, and expensive at $18 for two), and corn bread. Corn bread was very dry. Service was slow, server was nowhere to be found and flagging her for refills took forever. Add onto this, they have a 3.5% kitchen appreciation fee - which to me is just bizarre at this price point. The "kitchen appreciation fee" should be reflected by the fact that this restaurant charges higher than average prices for their food. I'd go to another restaurant if I were you.

Lunch :Calamari old and fishy smell, super salty (awful)Trout was also old and fishy no seasonings. All and all - not a good meal . Quality has gone down very disappointed. Gave 2 stars because server was nice and salad was fresh

Was being super picky on where to eat on my last night in Boston. Although a sea food fan, I wouldn't say I've been the most experimental in my time...mostly sticking to simple fish.Seated at the bar, the gentleman who served me was lovely and refreshing. He was ever so helpful with my questions and provided excellent recommendations.I tried my first oyster....to my surprise they're rather delicious ha! Although I couldn't describe the flavour to you. Not "fishy" like I kept imagining, not plagued by a salty taste. The scallops as a main was really well balanced, flavoursome, and some of the best scallops I've tasted. I've never had scallops that size in the UK; they had a meaty quality whilst having a sweat like essence. The restaurant has an amazing vibe, and as a solo diner I thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the bar, watching both the chefs and the bartenders work.

Amazing oysters, friendly staff, and decent lemongrass steamed fluke (great if you're excited to be eating healthy, I was maybe being overly healthy). The butterscotch pudding was amazing as well--very rich and filling.

The food was good I had the fish tacos which were delicious. My brother had the clam chowder it was ok I feel like bacon doesn't belong in clam chowder but that's more a personal preference. My wife had a fish sandwich wish was tasty.

I was shocked recently at Row 34. My wife and I have been here 40+ times. We ordered a few of our favorite dishes and the bill was $150. Usually I leave a 20% tip, so that would be $30. I’m not sure why I pay an extra $30 for my meal. The server wasn’t very service oriented, just a pleasant person taking my order and bringing our food. It took about five minutes of her time. But here’s the shocking part, buried in the bill was a 5% kitchen appreciation fee ? It wasn’t an optional fee. It was right there on my bill. Mr. Gregory, was this your idea? Why in the world can Row 34 not adequately pay your kitchen staff. Why this fee? Can anyone else relate to this? Seriously as a restaurant owner myself I just don’t understand why are you not appreciating your own kitchen staff with a better salary? And why is this item buried in my food bill and not at the bottom with the tip? I’d love to know.

Great location in the seaport. Food and cocktails are good, but not cheap. Nice casual atmosphere. Service tends to be slow even when not busy.
