Very nice lady. I had a long conversation with her. I like talking to people so I enjoyed her open heart. This was in November 2019, but she was very kind and in return to some medical advice she gave me a complete set of Russian dolls. Very generous! It might be that when the shop was closed she was ill and the person who was supposed to keep it open for her, didn't care enough! Call before you drive all the way to the place!

They are not at this address. Wasted a lot of time coming here. They don't answer their phone either so you can't buy from them even over the phone. If you're like me, you probably don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a stacking doll from a website that doesn't even update their address nor answer their business phone. I left a message that I would like to purchase a doll and still haven't heard back 2 days later. Fly by night and exactly what you'd expect from a Russian business.

I recently purchased Russian nesting dolls from this store's web shop. They have a nice selection of lovely dolls, from the affordably priced to high-end. The dolls I purchased arrived in perfect condition and just as pictured. I'm very pleased with the quality of the dolls. The owner of the business was there to help, quickly answered my questions and shipped my purchase in a timely manner. I think it would be nice if the web shop offered more information about the artists who painted these beautiful dolls. I wish I lived in Boston, I'd love to look at all these dolls in person! For someone like me, Matryoshka fans who don't live in Boston, I recommend you to take a look at their web shop.

There are fake designer purses sold on the streets. But this is the first time I've seen fake "designer" Matreshki. I dont even think that the people who sell them are Russian. The dolls are fake and dont even look like the real thing. The dolls are overpriced. The service is rude. Avoid this place.

Been to the Pru lately? Impressed by the high-end retail shops and the not-too-shabby food court? Ever wondered if you were, perhaps, dreaming when you could swear you spotted a kiosk full of Russian nesting dolls right across from Lacoste? Your Ambien isn't working, darling. The Russians have invaded and they brought toys! A thousand or so sets of nesting dolls await your eager eyes, all handmade and uniquely designed, for what seems to be an affordable price (I am not too privy on the average cost for nesting dolls these days). Only problem is, I have never once seen an actual customer buy anything. I am sure that many do - else this little kiosk would likely be replaced by yet again another kiosk that sells "Boston gear" - so come out, come out, wherever you are!

This is the overpriced kiosk selling Matreshki (Russian Nested Dolls) in the Prudential Mall, around the area the Alpha Omega jewelry store is. Not only is this place overpriced, the mass-produced goods aimed at tourists are sold by some of the meanest old ladies this side of Agnes Skinner (Principal Skinner's mother). They yell at you for even looking too closely, and look like they're about to go for a broom to shoo you away if you even think of picking up one of the dolls. I don't know if that place that sells Russian collectibles on Mount Auburn Street in Harvard Square is still around, but it runs rings around this place...
