I’ve been a loyal customer with Shanna for more than 10 years. We’ve tried different hair styles and colors, and she always listens to my ideas and requests, as well as offers her own suggestions based on her knowledge of my hair over the years. I no longer work in Boston, but I enjoy driving in on Saturday mornings for our appointments. And, her salon location is great for people watching in Downtown Crossing!

Shanna is amazing! She was mine and my maid of honor's hair stylist for my wedding and she did phenomenal ominal! Her and I had a trial before hand and those looked amazing. I did change the direction I wanted on the day of from un up to a down hairstyle, and she was able to quickly switch gears and nailed it! I can not thank her enough for her beautiful work!

Shanna is absolutely lovely and so talented! She always listens carefully to my rambling descriptions of different styles I like, and translates it all into something sleek and low-maintenance. I love that I can come by after work and quietly enjoy a such a soothing and pampering experience.
Her small studio is warm and inviting with tons of natural light (so flattering)! Very reasonable prices, especially in the heart of Boston.

Lady was nice but the haircut was subpar. Not sure if this place don't normally do men's cut. I probably should have looked closer (just saw hair salon with high rating and booked) but my sideburns were noticeably unbalanced (left side was much higher than the right - had to fix with my shaver once I got home) and really felt more like a barber cut than a hair salon cut.

I don't always love how my hair looks the day after a haircut-- sometimes it feels like it needs a couple weeks to settle before I like it. I saw Shanna a couple weeks ago and I loved my hair immediately after, the next day, and all the days since. That's rare for me and I'm very pleased. Highly recommend, love her space, and she's also very kind, which is an added bonus!

Possibly the best haircut I’ve ever had. Shanna knows exactly what to do with coarse, thick, wavy/curly hair, both for cutting and styling. I don’t live in Boston but might be willing to make the trip just to come back!

Shanna did a great job cutting my hair! She was personable and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. I showed her pictures, but also gave her creative liberty to do what she wanted when it came to layers and bangs. The salon has a great view of downtown crossing, so the appointment felt like it was over in no time! Shanna also offers complimentary bang trims, loyalty cards, and friend referral cards. Shana has been taking care of me for 13 years. I'll never go any where else! There is a saloon in the building I moved six years into 6 years ago and I still go across town to see Shana. You could not pay me to switch.Ellen
