If you have a problems be ready to be there for a long time. A lot of talk to make you think things are being done right. Didn't change anything or get access to my cash that I put in a newly opened account after being hacked again. in the branch or calling them directly. They now have $500 bucks I can't touch in any way. I have no choice but to find a more component, safer bank. I lost count of how many times the Debit cards were compromised.

The Santander Branch in Worcester in the Shaw's parking lot is a pleasant place. There are usually enough tellers so one doesn't have to wait very long. Everyone is nice and polite. I think their website needs a bit of updating, but other than that, it is a perfectly good place to do banking.

Terrible place to do business. If you plan on banking here, be prepared to be pushed to open accounts you don't want, very unethical sales practices.

I opened an account here to try to get away from the big bank hell that is Bank of America, but I think that choice was a bit like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. It has been about 2 weeks since I opened my account. My debit card doesn't work, my checks arrived without my name even printed on them (they just have my address on the front - ridiculous) and my direct deposit forms (necessary for the Extra 20 checking deal) were rejected. I called to try and fix these issues over the phone and was told I had to go to the branch. I went to the one in Gardner. On a busy Saturday morning, they had only 2 tellers working. Every customer in the long line needed help with complicated issues. They also had a manager working - I think her name was Delores? She was loudly and rather rudely interrogating a potential customer within ear shot of everyone in line. He eventually became so frustrated, he got up and stormed out of the bank, slamming the door. When I finally reached the front of the line, I was told I'd have to wait and speak with Delores... I walked over to her area. There was another customer ahead of me, who asked Delores for an additional form. Delores snapped, "Well, I am going to be another 15 or 20 minutes first." That's when I left. Not sure I'll be back.
