I have been a member with Santander for many years now. I deposited a large inheritance check for $50,000 over a month and a half ago! Now I understand they would not give immediate access to funds without making sure the check is actually legit. That is totally understandable. Instead they put my entire bank account on frozen, so I had no access not only in person, but online as well. This caused a ripple effect with my credit due to credit cards and insurance/car payments Venmo, and everything else. The check was cleared by Issuers bank, which was Bank of America two days after I deposited the check. The Issuer still did not receive check back and it is still withdrawn out of his account. They have also chose to clear my entire account, and no longer do business with me due to this. Along with the check, I also had a hand written letter that you would think would have helped support the check. This has been a month and a half and fraud is still telling me they donāt have any further information! I am not a rich man and a $50,000 is a major deal to me. Pass along if this is happening to you! Santander shame on you for holding someoneās money And cashing it on the other end, months and a half ago! My lawyers are pursuing investigation now, but I feel this needs to be known so others donāt go through the same

While the personnel are very nice/friendly, I've been trying to get my HELOC payment date moved from the 5th of the month to the 19th. This has been going on since September. 4 months later and still dealing with this simple issue. I am NOT a happy camper!!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. If you are a small business do not do business here! I have used them for 20 years but new changes in their policies makes them impossible to do business with. The new Chase in West Roxbury will win the business!

The new manager, Bruce, is very nice and knowledgeable. My wife has been going to see their banker, Rana, for years. Top notch bank! I recommend this bank to everyone.

I can certainly see why this small town bank has the reviews it does⦠I came for some simple banking needs before a month long trip Iām taking in two days.I was told to wait for a bank manager. There was a red/orange haired woman at one of the desks on the phone. I patiently waited for her to finish her call. As I waited I realized this wasnāt even closely business. She was talking to a friend about everything including needing a sugar daddy, planning hang outs and just laughing and making jokes⦠for 15-20 min! As I just sat there listening. I stood up and even made eye contact with her incase she didnāt realize I was there but she looked directly at me and continued her call.Iām all for a casual work environment but this was completely inappropriate. A bank of all places should have some level of professionalism, respect and courtesy when dealing with peopleās finances. Iāve never have seen that behavior at any bank.

Worst banking experience ever! And I've dealt with a lot of banks. DO NOT try to open a small condo association account here! Their legal department clearly doesn't want to do business with condo associations. 2 in person meetings with Branch Mgr, plus at least 10 emails back and forth, and still they wanted more paperwork. 4/8 thru 4/12 and still no acct! They even asked us for a form that we had to make up, then they would decide if it met with their approval. There is no such form! They told us to get a lawyer to create a form. So, we went down the street to Rockland Trust. 45 minutes later we were all set. Bank with small, local banks, folks. We have free checking for our condo association. The Mgr was very professional and very apologetic. The legal department seems to be run by Moe, Larry, and Curly.

Never enough people working there, yet always busy. Every time Iām there Iām waiting 20-40mins to see a teller. For a banker itāll be for hours ⦠if you need the ATM just the ATM then come here. Other than that wouldnāt recommend this bank.
