I wouldn’t trust them with any substantial amount of money. I thought the superviser, Shalima, was as unprofessional and arrogant as it comes, and by far the worst from what I encountered in consumer banking. Her staff were 1000x more professional and knowledgeable in deescalation techniques than she was, as a brunch manager. We are closing our accounts and giving business to another bank. Meanwhile, still waiting for that call from the Regional Supervisor, Kenan, that had never came. To be spiteful, I will calculate the NPV on the money Santander lost from our account and update this review in 10 years.

There is always someone ready to help me. I was assisted with businesses that I had no intention of engaging in. There is a waiting period, however, staff members are professional and reliable.

Three weeks and I still haven’t gotten my card, then when I call “just wait a little longer” over and over then hangs up in my face every time. The manager gave me her business card but her like the bank it self won’t pick up calls. Ima just have to see if I can take my money out and close the account. This is horrible customer service.

The teller took 40 mins to get through 3 customers ahead of me and would not accept my ID because it was expired. She offered no other alternative verification methods or solutions. (I have been able to conduct transactions before under the same circumstances). Extremely annoyed I wasted my ENTIRE lunch break and my only time to put down and offer on a home. Thank you very much for your speedy and excellence service mattapan branch.

Every time I walk into this branch there is only one teller! The line is almost out the door and the teller takes her sweet time to help a customer, I know she shouldn’t rush when dealing with money but she just takes her time. She doesn’t call for back up and this seems to be normal to the branch. If you are in a rush, your best option is to find another branch.. do not go this branch!!

I went to this branch to open an account. There was only one representative/manager working (Middle age haitian lady). BTW this branch is located in the busiest corner of Mattapan and Milton. I literally sat there for 45 minutes listening to the manager/representative socializing with an elderly couple while customers were waiting. She was educating them about her haitian culture, the food and the people-- nothing that was business related. Within 45 minutes, 10 customers waiting to speak to someone left because they were aggravated, including myself. She looks friendly and pleasant but someone needs to tell that manager that TIME IS MONEY or at least staff the branch appeopriately. DON'T GO THERE IF YOU NEED QUICK SERVICE.
