I don't live in the US and we are not used to self service gas stations. I asked for the cashier to explain to me what I needed to do to fill up my gas tank and he started mocking me. He also said that I needed to use Shell plus on my rental car, otherwise they wouldn't accept it back. I trusted him, but that is apparently a lie, since on the rental they said I could use any gasoline.

For the people giving Shell a bad review. DONT GO THERE! I Think everyone there is very nice. And they have the best gas prices around. So if you have nothing nice to say then just keep your mouth SHUT!

This particular Shell station is the pits. I work near this station so it is quite convenient. But that’s where it ends. I have gone in many times in the past, only to find that most of the time, the pumps have no receipt paper, which mean you have to go inside and wait in line. Wasting time. Within that past few weeks I have noticed price changes throughout the day. In the morning I have seen $3.59, only to go past a couple of hours later and see it up to $3.79. Then back down to $3.59 in the morning again. This morning it is saying $3.94. I can only imagine what it will be this afternoon. Do they pick prices out of a hat?

The cashier tried to fight me last night because I wanted to purchase gas with cash. Really weird experience but I will not be going back to this place.
