If you’re looking for the best audio listening experience, this is where you should go. They did an amazing job on a full audio system in my camper van. These folks are meticulous, extremely knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about high-end audio.Sure, the cost is pretty high, depending on your perspective. But absolutely worth the quality: this is craftsman level work done with great care and precision. You’re not going to be disappointed.I’m writing this from the driver seat parked in my driveway unable to get myself to stop listening. This is “goosebumps level” audio bliss.

I bought a used car that had work done to it by Sound in Motion in the past. I was unaware of the work that was done until I got the car home! The reason I didn’t notice is because the level of quality and professionalism they installed everything with was unlike anything I have ever seen! Everything they did looked like it was factory (or better). I called the shop and without hesitation they were happy to tell me what they did to the car and how to work it all!I live 300+ miles away from Sound in Motion but will not hesitate to make the trip when I need any audio/radar work done.Thank you SIM!

Derek, Jim, and team are the best ! They’ve helped me select and install 3 stereos for my BMW M3, 2017 Porsche C4S, and 2014 Porsche Turbo S. They took the time to understand what I wanted, and curated a perfect stereo every time. They’re the best in the business !

Worst store ever I came to know. To put camera in Kia Soul these guys tells me $150/hr and takes 4 hours so $600. I get it done in Cambridge Auto Sound just for $180. These people think everyone is dum and rich and going to give them money. I recommend don’t go to this store at all unless you have too much extra money with you. Stoop fooling and robing people. Great job for installing my dash cam, fair price for excellent service, charge the same amount as the quote before, use vacuum to clean my interior after everything is done.

After making several inquiries with other detailers, met with the team at Car Done Boston. They spent ample time explaining the process for ceramic coating (feynlab) and the application of the PPF (xpel). Listened to my needs and tailor made a package that was perfect for my new car. Jim was in touch on regular basis with updates and readily available for all of my questions. Nicole hit the ball out of the park with her expertise in paint correction prep and application of the ceramic coating. I had them apply PPF as well as window tinting while they had the car. The car looks fantastic!!! I don't have a picture to add but if you go to their IG account @car_done_boston just look for the Volvo XC60!!!

This will be my second system installed by Sound in Motion. They are so much better than advertised. It's one of those places that as you drive away your first thought is that this was worth it at even twice the price. They are the consummate professionals!

I had a custom stereo and apple carplay installed. Received a detailed estimate, and work was done on time and with professionalism. Very pleasant guys to deal with, too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend. High end audio, with prices to match. But in this case you really do get what you pay for. Excellent!

Shipped my new Tesla from Florida to Watertown and had them do paint correction, ceramic coating, a spoiler and and several other aftermarket accessories which they installed. The car was immaculate when I received it back and I could not be happier, especially with the professional way setting up and appointment and have the car done on time. Great shop Great people.

Had a new display panel installed that is compatible for CarPlay. It's awesome! Top notch customer service both before and after install. Jim was great. Very nice and took the time to answer my questions and help me decide on what system would be best for what I was looking for. Even after it was installed he helped show me how to use it and even followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction. I also had my EZ Pass transponder painted black which I didn't even consider as something worth doing until I had them do it. It looks really cool and is no longer an eye sore on my windshield - basically invisible! These guys are true professionals and I would recommend them to anyone.

I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. They've worked on 2 previous cars and have another scheduled for next month. Jim and his staff are professional and quality of work excellent. These guys at sound In motion are the best in the business. I grew up in the 80's in Allston/Brighton and at that time they installed a top of the line rockford fosgate punch series audio system in my car and attracted large crowds at my high school and set off numerous car alarms along the way. I also remember these guys winning competions in South Florida literally "bouncing quarters" off their cars from all the bass. They are legends!!!

This review is for me give long time ago, actually about 2 years ago they install a remote start on my Toyota Camry and till today it works fine. Based on quality of service and prices I will be back to install a back up camera system ??
