Paid 28 dollars for a bottle of wine that had gone bad. I immediately returned since I live across the street and the guy working there could not replace the bottle without the owner present but the owner only works there during the daytime.I was going to this store frequently but I suppose I will have to find a new shop to go to. Employee was unhelpful and frankly rude.

We buy wine here regularly as we live right across the street. Today we bought a $30 bottle of wine, immediately opened it and discovered it had turned. Ran back over to the shop to exchange it so that we could drink it with dinner and was told that they would not exchange the bottle. Avoid shopping here.

I love this store! The owner is a great guy from Ukraine & he gives back to his Country & loves his adopted Country here! He’s always helpful & if there’s something he doesn’t have that I want, he gets it! It’s nice to see a legal, hard working Immigrant love our Country, we’ve got too many people from here trying to cancel everything and everyone! God Bless America ?? & The Ukraine ?? !!!

I felt more safe from COVID than I have anywhere. They have a huge selection of mixed drinks. Something for anyone in the group - whether you're a Taylor, Shannon, Kate, or Brianna. The people working are very personable.

I was able to score a good bottle of wine for my girlfriend and whisky for myself. I'm excited for the weekend's special occasion! Thanks for the suggestions "Southie Liquors"

Last two times I’ve been here, lady at the register absolutely refused to wear a mask, and laughed at me for insisting on at least some social distancing. Pre Covid I’m sure this was fine. At this point it’s just irresponsible and stupid. Other places actually take this seriously. Go to other places.

One young, male staff has been really weird/rude every time I visit. I don’t know if he just doesn’t like me, or he treats every customer with the same extremely unfriendly attitude. I live in Southie and would really want to love this store. However, after several incidents, I’m sure I will never visit this place again. *tips for the owner - unless this guy is your son, keep him away from your store. There are two more liquor stores within two blocks of yours and you don’t want someone to hurt your customers and then hurt your business.

One of the staffs there is extremely rude and unfriendly. Their alcohol is also more expensive than the two other liquor stores in the neighborhood. Will not visit this place again as honestly all I want was just to get a bottle of wine. I didn't know that it needs to come with an unbearable attitude.

I loved Southie Liquors and the wine selection and women who worked there, but always had strange interactions with the older man with white hair. Not only had he previously made an inappropriate compliment to me, but today I went in and was yelled at when I asked for a 5 cent bag after he already ran my card. Since I didn't have cash on me, I offered to pay him the next time I came in and he went off on an angry tangent. I asked him if he was the owner or manager and he refused to answer and told me to leave. I am surprised that a business owner or employee would treat someone that way. I definitely will not be going back.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I just went in to buy a bottle of wine, saw a cool "wine on tap" looking display in the front of the store. I asked the associate what it was, to which he said "google it" while staring down at his phone. I questioned "you can't explain what this is?" Stunned by his response, to which he said "it's not that hard". I paid for my wine, to which he chucked my ID back in my direction. Needless to say I will NEVER be back, which is a shame because I live in the neighborhood. Otherwise; the store had a decent wine selection. Sorry to give the overall establishment a poor review over what is likely an anomaly.
