About St. Leonard Church
Based on the reviews, St. Leonard Church is a stunning and beautiful church in the north end of Boston. It is a visually interesting Catholic church with a gorgeous structure, stunning details, and a beautiful dome over the altar. The church is rich in history and deep cultural heritage, founded in 1873 as one of the city’s oldest Italian Catholic churches. It is not a very large church, but it has nice stations of the cross and an architecturally interesting ceiling. The atmosphere is peaceful, offering a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle. It is a truly special place, free to enter and open just about 24/7. Visitors should be quiet and respectful inside. Whether for a visit or to pray the Rosary, it is a welcoming and uplifting community.

Absolutely beautiful church in the north end. Mass was a lovely mix of Italian locals, transplant “locals” and visitors alike , gathered in worship. It was a very welcoming environment.
