Such a great experience at the Stockyard. It was our first time there and did not disappoint! The space is huge and the atmosphere is great - feels like an authentic steakhouse. We came with a party of 4 and had the calamari, filet mignon, prime rib, whipped potatoes, creamed spinach, baked potato and asparagus. The steaks were some of the most delicious I’ve ever had (if you like blue cheese, they bring you a lot as a topping on steak for the price) and all of the sides were fresh. A great stop for a special occasion, to watch a game or to come for a date night. We will definitely be back!

Have visited the establishment quite a few times, food is amazing. Oyster boom is a must try. But every time I've been there the manager has remembered me. Comes over and it's always a short conversation with us. Must say it's a plus that he does this Great guy in my eyes. And his food recommendations are always good ones. So this time he recommended a shrimp lobster bucatini dish, which he said was new on the menu. So we got it to go. Again atmosphere is always great . And we will be back again. Oh waitress just told me the managers name . Which is Jerry. Great guy as i said before . And the hospitality is always amazingParking: Lot is very big plenty of parking

Stockyard is one of my favorite restaurants for a special occasion. The atmosphere is warm and inviting at any time of year, but especially on weekends and during the holiday season when there is live music in the main room. There are also plenty of private rooms for large and small groups and functions. The food is classic steakhouse fare done right. The steaks pair well with the many sauces and garnishes offered, and the sides and compliment it all. The non-steak offerings are varied and delicious as well. The beverages are delicious and very reasonably priced. The appetizers are exciting and far from stuffy/bland.This is not the place if you're looking for a quick meal, but the staff will take care of you and accommodate special requests. You won't leave hungry! My recommendation: Start with Tuna Tartare and follow with the Tomahawk Bone-In Ribeye (for two) with Mac & Cheese and one of the many green vegetables. Whipped Potatoes and the Loaded Potato Skillet are great side options as well. Pair with Truffle Butter and a Boston Irish Sour (Whiskey Sour with Irish whiskey and an egg white foam; off-menu). Finish with Key Lime Pie, Creme Brulee, or that week's dessert special.Kid-friendliness: While somewhat on the upside of steakhouses, Stockyard is still approachable for parents of older children.

We went here for lunch. The atmosphere was great. We started with clam chowder and French onion soup. Both soups were excellent. The oyster crackers served with clam chowder had that chewy-like texture of older crackers. We ordered a NY strip and a prime rib with a few sides. Both came out at the desired doneness. The prime rib was served with grated horseradish and whipped butter--without which it would have been entirely flavorless. The sides were even more bland. The asparagus was entirely unseasoned. The only side that was tasty was the mashed potatoes. The worst thing was an add on for the steak--sautéed mushrooms. They tasted and had the texture of canned mushrooms. There were some chewy sections in there which made me think they had put dried mushrooms in there but nothing to change the flavor of canned mushrooms. It is an abomination to serve canned mushrooms along side a steak--even if it's just mediocre. To charge $200 for it is just sinful.

Pros:- Excellent Service waiter was always around asking if we needed anything & making sure our cups were full.- Mens Bathroom was clean for the age but smelled musty.- Al cart sides are big enough for 2 to share.- Steak was not over seasoned.Cons:- Food was not at all hot (do not expect steak to be) but sides were luke warm at best- Mashed potatoes are very light/airy/fluffy hard to describe. Tasted fine but not very filling.- Ordered my steak medium rare came out medium well (no pink). I am sure I could of sent it back but by then my sides would either be colder or I would have been full from them.- Very dark (we went at 5pm). Decor is outdated which is fine and I prefer the cozy feel but, the lighting is so dark.Takeaway:For the price I expect better. I like my food hot and my steak pink when I ask for medium rare. Service was great and probably it's only saving grace. But I have had better food at the cheaper chain steakhouses.
