I usually shopping more than hundreds each time. I asked the customer service for restrooms passwords. They give it to my gf and they don't give it to me (men room). They said no restrooms even I'm a customer.

Horrible stop and shop. I go out of my way to not shop at this one. I almost get hit by people in the parking lot every time not looking where they’re going (in car and walking into the store). I’ve been followed around by homeless people before and borderline stalked while trying to just get a few things. The staff is borderline rude in how they work with people. Ive said “thank you have a nice day” to the cashiers every time I leave and I get “sure”, “whatever” or in some cases an eye roll. I get it, work can suck sometimes but I’m just trying to treat you like a human being. Also buying toiletries, you have to go through a turnstile and pay in there because of the theft. Again, I go out of my way to not shop here.

I would frequent this location more often if it weren't for the sanctioned rudeness. I went to the store and the entire personal care section has been locked up, apparently they lock it up by 8pm even though the store closed at 10pm due to thefts. Ok. I understand that but what I don't understand is why a staff peraon gave me an ugly attitude when I asked to be chaperoned by a staff person to get an item I really needed at that moment as I had to travel the next day. And it's the only store where I could get what I needed close to me, which I calmly explained. What's worse is that the manager was right next to her, and said nothing. This kind of condoned behavior is why so many choose to avoid shopping in stores. Less patrons mean less corporate revenue, which means less jobs. But there is no protocol to address unecessary attitudes to customers. Even if it means I have to travel farther, I will find somewhere else.

I went to south bay stop n shop early this morning. When it was time to pay i ask the cashier how much i owe and the person that should be bagging said to me open your eyes and i said my eyes are open i can not see from far left my glasses in car it was very RUDE. She should be bagging i bag my own.because she was busy talking and using her cell. I always loved stop and shop in south bay but she should learn how to speak to customers.

The whole place is not good....the food and all the products is same thing like other....but the people who work in there so rude...they treat you like you from the Ave... you have to dress properly to be served at the customers otherwise you will be like another ave person

I was not allowed to use the restroom before shopping. My bladder was about to explode. Asked for store manager Keith Boyle, who never bothered to come and meet me and my ADA concerns.I had to drive down the road to Star Market which was happy to accommodate me. As of now my bladder is burning. If things go worse might visit the ER.

I do not recommend buying produce at that store. I went to buy some red and green peppers, all of the vegetables were going bad. I could not find one good vegetable to buy. Also the prices was very high .

They have a pretty decent gluten free selection, frozen and pre-packaged. The checkout and self checkout lines were long. They have a pretty decent ethnic food section. They have a few Jamaican staples and also British foods as well as other countries. The lotion/health section had a separate in and out and you gave to pay for those items before you leave the area. They had Schar, Glutino, Simple Mills, Udi and Katz.
