Stephanie is awesome she really helped me out and explained Everything to me In a professional way. I’m so happy that a new company has purchased this from Xtra Space because they were horrible and I was about to move my storage units out of here, but Stephanie convinced me to stay and we need / you need more people like her working for your company.
I hope this new company (Secure Space) runs this storage company better than Xtra Space did. Thanks Stephanie.

I had a really awesome experience with the manager that was filling in at the new secure space self storage facility in West Roxbury, that used to be extra space storage. They just acquired ownership of the West Roxbury location. His name was Ashton and I had issue with the old company (Extra Space) that I’ve been trying to resolve for over two months and unbeknownst to me. They sold the old extra space storage to secure space at the exact time, when my issue was supposed to be being resolved, leaving the issue, unresolved as the new owners took over management of the location it became increasingly difficult to resolve an unresolved issue but thanks to Ashton who is the manager in the Wakefield secure space location it was resolved within 15 minutes and he actually took the time to stay on the telephone with me while he was being bombarded and actually harassed by other customers that were actually at the location (by himself) while he was on the phone with me. He actually had one woman telling him that he needed to get off the phone with me and deal with her issue because she had been a customer there for eight years but he persisted and told her “ this customer that is on the phone with me right now, is equally as important to this business as anyone that might be here in this office right now”. same as if he were standing here with me right now, he told her. Wow…. I was so impressed by his composure his calmness and him actually doing the right thing and doing it with the firmness and respect that a good leader leads with, that I had to make sure that I wrote this review asap and give him and the company The 5 Stars they deserved! Because of Ashton , my opinion of this location has shifted I’m really happy that you guys have taken over this location and that extra space is gone because I was about to move out of this location, but because of my interaction with Ashton today, and Stephanie (Secure Space Maryland Filling in Last Week) they have completely changed my mind about remaining a client at 99 Rivermore, This is been a change of ownership at this location. Hopefully the third is the charm.

NOTE: The business was recently sold from Extra Space Storage to Secure Space Self Storage.
This was my first interaction with Secure Space Self Storage and has encouraged me to clean out my storage locker as I do not welcome the treatment I received today from the Site Manager, Ashton.
Site manager Ashton was rude.
Site manager used unwelcome gestures to customer.
Site manager asked me to leave when I made it clear all I wanted to do was pay my bill.
Site manager intentionally choose to argue with me when that was not necessary and I explained I was willing to wait in the waiting area for them to be ready.
Was given an incorrect bill amount. $142 instead of $135
When explained the difference was for insurance I explained I had provided the insurance recently to the previous storage company and would send a copy to update records.
Site manager demanded I sign a new lease.
I refused to sign lease saying instead you have my notice that I will move out by the end of this month.
I told Ashton, I worked in the same industry and would never treat a customer as I was treated; unwelcome like a problem instead of an opportunity, talked to, gestured to and asked to leave before accepting a payment for the storage rent.
One positive is I am now motivated to clear out my storage locker before New Year.
Take your business to anywhere else. Watch how they treat their customers before you sign the storage lease. Are customers welcome, are they treated with courtesy and respect. Anything at all to say thank you for your business. Ashton is a storage manger and there is something to be said when your company chooses to promote someone who lacks all these customer service skills. I strongly advise taking business anywhere else. Note other customers this month have complained about failure to disclose additional charges on bills for insurance is the small profit of insurance charges worth it to loose customers. They could just say we need to make sure your insurance is up to date instead of pretending you won't notice. Really slimy of them, good thing I was paying attention....

Went in on first days of SecureStorage ownership and was greeted by Amazing helpful staff that showed me around the facility and available units. Chose what i wanted, setup and finalized all super efficiently and was done in no time. Thank you so much!

Had no problem with this storage facility until securespace storage took it over from extra space and they insisted that i carry insurance or use theirs for $12 / month. I declined insurance when i signed up bc i didnt need the contents insured. Cancelling my unit.
