I rented with sun property group this past year and I would like to say the management team was very helpful in the transition process of me moving in. Specifically Patrick his response timing to all needed requests have been great thus far for my stay and I am happy to say I will be renewing my lease.

How many times can a person call to be removed from their spam marketing list but not ever get an answer??The limit does not exist.…and yet they so clearly want to buy your home.. they just won’t get back to you, or remove your name from their spam list

Horrible to deal with. Shavar and his manager threated with fines based on complaints, without verifying any of them. Even when a complaint is based on something that is not possible. Each time they reached out informing me of a complaint, I had to spend money to check to see if there really was an issue - each time the professional said "not possible." The company stopped bothering me after I provided the receipts proving that the complaints are not possible, and yet I never received an apology or an explanation of the path that they were going to take to address whoever the false complainer was. SPG needs to do better. Stop taking everything as gospel and do some research and seriously, learn to be better at customer service, that's the basics of management.

They would have ZERO stars if that were an option. The management office does not return calls or emails, PERIOD. We have been without USPS mail access for a total of 6 months. And this was after we were without an entry system for deliveries/visitors for 1+ years leaving most delivered items stolen or damaged. There are holes in the walls of the vestibule where mice have been seen entering and the fire alarms/detectors have been damaged/not working condition since we moved in 2018. Safety violations don't seem to bother them nor does the general security of the building. I have a much longer list of complaints...but the calls, emails and reviews don't ever seem to help. This company should not be allowed to manage their own homes much less other people's property. The company's "leadership" (and I use that word loosely), excuses all of the inaction by their staff and gaslights their tenants/condo owners when an issue arises. Instead of handling complaints, they take complaints personal which leads to more silence and inaction.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This property group is the worst. Right off the bat they never gave us the code to get into the unit and my roommates and I had to wait almost an hour for a neighbor to let us in and tell us the code. Sun property never answered my calls about getting stuck outside. Once in the apartment, it was not clean. Even though we were informed that a cleaning crew would clean the apartment. There was a lot of damage to the apartment which made it seem like the management group didn’t step into the place for a long time. They never answer their calls about issues with the apartment and would take days to respond to emails. One employee, Shavar Babb, in specific was willing to help but after the first week of moving in, we never heard from him since. The washing machines were old and never maintained. Cabinets in the kitchen were broken and could not open. I can go on and on but these are a few of many issues we had with the apartment and the Management group. I rarely make reviews but this year has been one of the worst experiences with a property management group.In summary,DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Sun Property Group managed our condo in Brookline for the last 2 years. Throughout that time, they helped us find multiple tenants and accrue fair passive income from them. We were rarely bothered and if they called us it was for something important. I specifically wanted to thank Adam Jaena. Adam would always go above and beyond for us. Even when we were preparing to sell our condo (and not paying the management company), Adam stopped by to make sure everything was all set for open houses and sale. I would highly recommend working with Adam Jaena and Sun Property to manage your property.

Just started renting a place from this company, so far they have been nothing short of amazing! They have been very responsive every step along the way and fixed a maintenance issue we had less than 24 hrs after notifying them about it.

I lost money dealing with Sun Property Group. They issued late payments. They also got lease terms incorrectly not as advertised (which they had control over) which was a costly mistake to others. If that is not enough they made more glaring mistakes putting others in legally liable situations. It was bad enough I had enough evidence to go to court.

Honestly best property management company Ive dealt with as a renter! I rent from them in Dorchester. They have always been super responsive and quick to fix anything! Would absolutely recommend!!

Sun Property Group flawlessly handles my 2 rental properties in Cambridge. They make being a landlord super easy, and I simply sit back and collect my rent... I'd suggest using Sun Property Group for any owners of rental properties in Boston and the Greater Boston area - 5 Stars IMO

Absolutely worst group I’ve ever dealt with. If I could rate them zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I were very interested in one of their apartments for rent - showed up for a showing not once but TWICE unsuccessfully. The first time there was a miscommunication with the tenant and we were unable to see the unit, and the second time we were stood up.I emailed to confirm the appointment and received no response. My boyfriend and I waited for 30 minutes before finally leaving. I followed up with an email to reschedule twice and no response either.Extremely unreliable and unresponsive. Lucky we got out without renting a place, because I can’t imagine how unresponsive they’d be if there were any issues with the unit.Do NOT recommend!

Won't ever pick up the phone concerning apartment matters or return calls when messages are left.Appliances in our apartment did not work and it took them two weeks to send a plumber to fix them, then a week later another arrived because whoever was in charge of the operation was so bad at planning.They also refuse to put into the system for our apartment because it creates extra work for them, as if doing so was not already their job.
