The optometrist was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The gentleman running the shop was extremely helpful while I picked out frames. This is my third or fourth year as a patient at this location and I extremely satisfied.

Chris at optical was so kind to tighten my glasses for me. He was about to leave for lunch but stayed so he could do this for me. He was very kind and professional and even though my glasses were from an outside store he still was able to easily.

Terrible experience. The doctor did not explain what was changing, what she was doing, and the appointment lasted 10 minutes total. Ended up with an incorrect prescription.

The worst experiences I’ve ever had at an eye appointment. The only positive was the very kind lady who checked me in. Dr onsika had terrible bed side manner, it was my first time trying to figure out contacts vs glasses and I needed help navigating everything and she seemed extremely upset with me that I was asking questions. No history or questions were asked before the exam and the second I finished the exam she gave me my perception and didn’t say a word about it or elaborate and sent me out the door. I would not recommend anyone go here and I would avoid at all costs.

My appointment was at EZ Eyecare in Target Optical Fenway. First off, the optometrist was 15 minutes late. There was no apology whatsoever, or any salutations, only told to sit on the chair in the office.The entire routine exam lasted five minutes. Yes, five minutes! It began with me looking through the lens instrument to read the smallest letters on the chart. After several rounds of this test, Dr. Anosike wrote the numbers on the piece of paper for my prescription. That's it - done. There was no explanation on the well-being of my eyes, except informing me to wear sunglasses to block UV rays.My expectation was to be educated on eye care, as I have from previous experiences with optometrists. The entire procedure felt rushed and she did not show care or concern toward my vision, similar to an "eye care mill" where I am just a number on a spreadsheet.An intern could have done my vision testing; press a few buttons and ask which lens is clearer, A or B. I left her office feeling unfulfilled and felt like my money was wasted on subpar medical care.I don't know about the other optometrists at this practice but I won't be seeing this specific "doctor" again.On the other hand, the receptionist was friendly and made small talk while I waited for the optician to arrive. I'd like to add that I have been a customer/patient at this location ever since they opened (7-8 years ago?).

Always fix my glasses with no charge. First time lens popped out and wouldn't go back in and second time a nose bridge fell out. Both times they fixed it in a few minutes. Always a good experience coming here. Will give them a try if I need new glasses in the future.

The receptionists were great . Personable . The doctor literally made zero eye contact and looked like she didn't want to be there .

AWEFUL experience- this place used to be amazing and this is no longer the case. My appointment was rushed and Dr. Anosika was so rude and unfriendly. She rushed my whole appointment, told me it was not necessary to get my pupils dilates because my eye pressures were okay ( I checked with one of the optometrists at the hospital I work and this makes no sense according to them). On top of everything she gave me the wrong prescription and now I’m stuck with 2 new glasses with wrong prescription. This is absolutely unacceptable and she should be reported to the board of medicine! Extremely dissapointed!!!!

I have been coming to Target Optical for years and have always had good experiences until this most recent one. I saw Dr. Anosika and during my first appointment she rushed through my eye exam, which only lasted about 5 minutes. She was rude to me and asked me questions like, "Do you wear sunglasses?" but then didn't explain why she asked that when I inquired. She gave me a pair of contacts with the "new" prescription and I told her I still felt like it was blurry. She shoved a piece of plastic against my eye and asked if it was better, I told her no and she said, "Yeah that was your last prescription so this one is better." I told her it still felt blurry and she said, "This is your prescription." It was immediately clear to me that this was not the correct prescription so I went in for a follow-up. She raised her voice at me when I was attempting to figure out which prescription was better. I also asked her a question about my vision and she said, "It's not the contact so it must be something wrong with your brain." When I asked if she thought I needed to see another doctor about it, she shrugged. I did not feel like I got the proper care at all and I am likely going to have to spend even more money at another eye doctor just to make sure everything is okay because she clearly did not provide me with good care.

Disappointed with my recent visit. Received a prescription that didn't feel right, despite expressing concerns. Trusted my instincts and got a second opinion—turned out I needed a different prescription. Always a reminder to listen to your gut!

Avoid at all cost if you don't want to waste money and get the wrong presciption! I've been a customer at Target Optical Fenway for a few years, but I saw the new doctor, Grace Anosike, during my most recent visit and it was a terrible experience! She greeted me with no shoes and the whole appointment lasted 5 minutes. She didn't care about my vision and the appointment was rushed. I felt like she changed my prescription just to prove that she did something. Of course the prescription she gave me was wrong and I ended up with 6 months of contact lens I couldn't use. I also signed up for a dilated eye exam which she didn't bother. I was shocked when the appointment ended so quickly by her asking me to pay. Save yourself time/money and go somewhere else.

Went in without an appointment & Christopher Rahe helped me no problem! Had my glasses adjusted and he was quick to help despite other appointments coming in. Helped my friend with glasses colors and guided her through the process easily. Thank you!

STAY AWAYI went here for an eye exam years ago and had a perfect experience. I went this year and met a new doctor who seemed annoyed that I was there and rushed me through the exam. When I asked for an email of my prescription I was scoffed at and told "just take a picture of the one I gave you". This was odd and unexpected because every other eye doctor I've been to had emailed me the prescription. After clarifying the numbers of her chicken scratch handwriting, I moved on.I ordered glasses online and my left eye is very blurry. I thought it was odd and then dug out my old prescription from 2021 from the old doctor here that I liked and the left eye is WILDLY different from my new prescription.In the end I went to another optometrist who gave me a completely different reading that is actually correct. I had to return my glasses I bought with the Target prescription and order new ones. A huge waste of time and money. This doctor should not be practicing anymore.
