Enjoyed this place a lot! Drinks were a little too expensive and would have loved to have a second round but honestly not worth the value. The Naked Lobster Rolls could have used more butter— a little dry but the buns were good. I did not expect to love my appetizers the most, but this is where this place really shined. The service was also excellent! 10/10 really nice staff, a great ambiance, and perfect location.Would recommend!Kid-friendliness: Yes, there is a kids menu!

Food was phenomenal and was easily one of the best meals I have ever had. This is a Boston staple and I can’t wait to return!

Worth a visit if you want to experience a bit of the old, original atmosphere around fish and lobster restaurants in the past. A cozy place where you don't have to dress up to enjoy a freshly prepared and delicious meal with fish or lobster.

Tourist trap! The place is inconveniently small, dirty and expensive! Food is nothing special, frys and lobster tails/shredded lobster parts on a sugary bread, does not cost 50$ per portion for sure; the salad had 2 cherry tomatoes and several green leaves, worth 20$. Service is akward as tables stay empty but the staff likes to create the impression that there are no tables available and make people wait in line for an hour at least, then sits you on a dirty table, with food trash on the floor and gives you plastic utensils and plastic cup of water, all drinks in a plastic cup, what happened to good old green/eco porcelain plates and metal forks and spoons? Tons of garbage thrown every 15 minutes while we waited outside for an hour. Then food arrives, for 38$ before tax and tip you get sugary cheap bread and some lobster rolls. Fries are separately ordered. A tiny, 20 grams, cup of coleslaw is offered. Ketchup bottle empty. A 50$ portion of a lobster tail and shrimps/scallops contains 4 scallops, 4 shrimps, 5 asparagus, 5 potato slices but it was at least tasty. The "best of all" is their restroom: tiny, dirty, smelly, unlockable, no place to go out of the ridiculous cabin as another person dries their hands and traps you inside. There is a big tent with 30 tables which is not open because it's closed according to the ridiculous sign in front. I guess they keep it unused to make the restaurant look in high demand with the queue in front. Some mistakes we make only once.

Great little place. Super cozy. But weirdly expensive considering they serve their drinks in plastic cups ?

I had placed an order for pickup to bring home for dinner. Now this is my first time ordering from here, I work in the area and was craving some fried clams.I spent $68 and some change now this is including tip for 2 people. The food was soggy whether from condensation from the take out containers or from the Lemon slices in the boxes. Also for the price I paid for the fried clams and the fried calamari, it was definitely not worth it at all.$23 for 6 fried clams?!?!?! And they were soggy on top of it…fries were soggy and even the calamari was looking soggy and not appealing at all. Will not return or recommend.

First time having a lobster roll, should of had it warm instead. Clam chowder was awesome, as were the lobster empanadas. Severs were friendly.
