We were in town for college auditions and had a wonderful stay at The Colonnade. Every employee we interacted with provided exceptional service. We had a lovely room with a great view, comfortable beds and pillows and a convenient location within walking distance the majority of our stay.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing another fantastic stay at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston. From the moment you arrive and start the check-in process, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff make you feel as though you're reuniting with long-lost friends. Noman, Aurora, and Jino were exceptionally helpful in making the check-in smooth and accommodating a special request with ease. I was also impressed by the gym's recent upgrades, including new machines and expanded space for stretching and yoga. The comfort of the bed, complemented by an abundance of pillows, and the strong water pressure in the shower, a rarity in hotels these days, were highlights of my stay. I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

Very disappointed with the front desk managers. A request to leave the night before because of a snowstorm coming into the Boston area was denied by David. We understand rules but should be flexible for extreme reasons. Safety comes first, especially since we had to drive back to New York. We won't choose this hotel in the future, it is not consumer-friendly.

We visited for the weekend for a Northeaster women's hockey game. We came to watch "Katy Knoll doing Katy Knoll things". This hotel was in the perfect location, walking distance to the arena. Great restaurants just outside our door. Room was updated and clean. The bathroom was spotless which is always my pet peeve. My room was ready on time and checkout was easy. Staff was efficient and helpful.Nearby activities: Shopping at the Pru Center right across the street for those that like to shop. Great restaurants surrounding the hotel for all budgets. Matthews Arena within walking distance for sure.Safety: Felt safe walking through the area. Lots of people around. Well lit. Lobby felt safe well into the night.Walkability: Everything you need is within walking distance including public transportation if you need to move around within the city.

Great location, friendly staff and dog friendly. The rooms are nice and the bedding is very comfortable. We will be back.Walkability: Perfect location in the middle of Boston. Back Bay and the South End are easily walkable. Public transportation is close as well.

This hotel staff are friendly and knowledgeable, my room was clean and comfortable (the pillows seemed to be down and fluffy!), and the hotel was a nice size (not too big and not too small). The spatial flow of the lounge and restaurant gave a feel of coziness, while still being elegant and light.

A year ago - it was not a good experience (so I stayed away even though I come to Boston monthly). I gave it another shot this week - and it was a stellar experience. From the front desk, to the restaurant, to Norman who took care of my bags - excellent visit.

This Hotel is in a wonderful location in the Backbay area. Right across from the Prudential center and many surrounding restaurants and shops. Walkable to a few different T stops and the wonderful Boston Common/ Gardens isn't far. The lobby of this hotel is very nice looking. Also online this hotel looks great and rooms do too. There is also a rooftop pool that is wonderful to relax by in the summertime. And they sometimes have work out classes on it like yoga by the pool. Honestly, I try not to stay here often as the last few times I have stayed here its been not so great service, rooms have not been up to par or I've seen some security issues. I see in some other reviews the security was brought up. My room this go around was by the end of the hall where the heat was blasting and so the heat from the hallway like seeped into my room. I turned the AC on but would turn it off pretty fast as it sounds like a jet plane was in or near my room. That is how loud it was. Who could sleep with that going... Not me! I did see some little stains on pillow cases. By the way, these pillows are not the most comfortable. My tv, I don't remember it taking so long to load as it did this time around. My door didn't seem closed all the way. I mean it was but just didn't seem it. And the top lock thing didn't go down all the way. The bathroom door didn't stay closed as it was a sliding door unless it was locked which was annoying as the lock was a bit hard to undo. Also, there is a sign on my floor that points to where the ice machine is. There is a sign by a door that says ice. Well that door is locked and there is only ice on certain floors but how is one supposed to know that if there is a sign pointing to the ice machine on your floor? Staff here are nice but I did have some not so nice ones and ones who just didn't seem to want to be there working. All in all, this is deff not my number one hotel I usually go to when I visit Boston.

We have stayed at the Colonnade Hotel many times due to our daughter going to college at Northeastern university . We can’t say enough about how well we are always treated by everyone of the wonderful staff. We are always greeted with a smile from NORMAN who ALWAYS remembers us and is so happy and very helpful along with all of the wonderful check in staff. They are so accommodating and helpful. This past weekend was the first time that we brought our dog with us which made us a little nervous because of everything being a bit different and not knowing how she was going to react to all of the new and different things that she was going to experience. Needless to say she did VERY WELL and the entire staff were all so helpful. We felt like “family” there the entire weekend. With that all said we will definitely be back and will be bringing our little miss Dottie girl with us for another stay at the Colonnade and to see not only our beautiful daughter but to also see our “friends” at the Colonnade!!!!Rooms: We have always experienced exceptional quality in any of the rooms as well as the entire facility.Nearby activities: Again there’s soooo much to access right from the front doors of the ColonnadeSafety: We have always felt very safe in and around the colonnadeWalkability: There is SOOOO much to see and do all within walking distance from the Colonnade.
