So far so good. I need a local bank near my home and had no luck with Tremont Credit Union, and Citizens has unrealistic demands if you just want a savings account (basically you can't). They answered the phone and answered all my questions and my application seems to be going through pretty quickly. Looking forward to banking here.

The most unprofessional banking institution in the state of Massachusetts. I feel like they don’t know their own business and how competitive it is. We were treated unprofessionally and with little regard to the fact we were working on a private sale deal. Thank God for our seller, another person would have kicked us to the curb after the first extension request by the bank. The people we worked with were not responding to e-mails from our attorney until the last minute and with no phone calls in between to steer progress on our application in the right direction. We started our mortgage application in June and with much effort and 3 extensions asked by this bank we closed in the end of August. If you are out there looking for a lender run away from this one. I don’t believe these people should be in the banking business let alone responsible for your mortgage. We all learn from our mistakes and live to tell them so others don’t do the same. Reconsider and go elsewhere if possible.

Their online banking system is a joke and their staff will harass you to make an account with them, choose a bank where you are the priority and not a bonus in their paycheck!

You can’t trust this bank!!! THEY ALLOWED SOMEONE TO CASH OUT CHECKS WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE SIGNATURE. They claim that they do not check the signatures of the checks being cashed!!! And claim that they have loop holes that does not protect your money!!! TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT OF THIS BANK WHILE YOU CAN

Please do not trust your money with this bank. My widowed 85 year old mother has lost her life savings now. She has been a customer for over 40 years. 3 checks were fraudulently written and passed and cashed through this bank totaling 30 thousand dollars. The fact the check was not dated, signatures did not match are only a couple of red flags bank should have picked up on. After 40 yrs of banking they should have also known this was out of the ordinary for her account. It leads me to believe who are their employees? Are they screened, back ground checked, trained in fraudulence etc. Today elder fraudulent abuse is a big concern to our government officials. Employees are a representation of this institution. My bank , thank God not this one, called me to verify a check written for alot less money before cashing. As it should be. This institution allowed 3 checks to pass. We receive statements in mail a week after the bank statement closes. This was when we were aware of the issue. She at 85 does not do online banking. I myself do not. It is a convenience but no where does bank inform you a necessity . The bank 's answer to us is , it was after 30 days. Not our responsibility. Would you accept this answer if it was your money depleted from account. This review is only the beginning of getting justice in a situation that could have been avoided totally if handled professionally and with the recommendations of the Division of Banks and Treasurer Galvin .

I finally found a bank that I can trust and rely on. I use my online banking and debit card every day and love the convenience they offer.

The worst bank imaginable!! Be very careful!!! They allowed $30,000 to be withdrawn from my 85 year old mothers account. This bank does not protect there customers. Will not return the money because we did not report money missing within 30 days. No accountability for letting two check clear with fraudulent signature!!!! Withdraw all your funds from this band they do not protect you and have loop holes so to not return your money!!!

Friendly, but utterly unusable bank. I hate to say this about a small bank, but this is the single worst banking experience I have ever had. Our condo association was set up with TCB. It's a new condo, and when the other owners and I tried to get the names on the accounts updated, it took three to four weeks, and several trips to the bank, each time with them giving us incorrect information about what we needed. When we finally got it set up, I was told I would be able to log into the online banking system. However, that was not so. After numerous attempts and more than one phone call to customer service, they had to resolve mis-matched information they had on two sides of their back end system. Then, after a few days, I was able to log in. Note there was no communication to confirm that the information had been updated and resolved. But we thought we were up and running. Nope. The second time I logged in, after a short period of being in the system, it just stopped working and I was unable to log back in. We gave up. The next morning, after numerous failed attempts to log in without an error message, and the page just simply refreshing and asking me for my username again, I called support. They confirmed I was using the correct username and password. I tried three separate web browsers, all with the same result. They escalated the call to tech support, and after a couple more tries, and again using a different browser, I was finally able to log in again. According to tech support, the only thing he could think happened was that the system had timed out. Again, no error message. Just an endless loop of login screens. Once I finally got in, I went to add a user for our other condo owners, and this too failed several times, but did give an error message. So I called yet again. They were unable to resolve the issue, but seemed to know what the problem was (the issue with the two sides of their system not having complete info), and sent me to the business team, saying they had talked with them and updated them on exactly what needed to happen. However, the person on the business team started more or less from the beginning, appeared not to be aware of the specific case, and ultimately was unable to resolve the issue, saying that it should be working. Yeah. No kidding. She had me close the window and log back in and ... again I was unable to log in. Again, through multiple browsers. Apparently timed out again? She had no answers and offered to escalate it to her manager or head of ... and the call dropped. No one called back. They have my contact info, they have my account. Nothing. I'm completely done with TCB. We are going to get a different bank. Their online banking system is unusable. We literally cannot even log in reliably. We have not successfully completed a single transaction, or any action at all in the system. And when timed out, we can't log back in. And this was after a huge headache just trying to get our names on the account.

Very kind, staff are always willing to help, the kind of bank where they remember your name and greet you with it when you walk in!
