VERY OLD APARTMENT AND EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT. THEY SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT THEY GOT 3+ SCORE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO NEGATIVE SCORE RATINGS ON GOOGLE MAP.

Helpful and nice! Repair and services are helpful. Especially, Kim, she helps me a lot on my lease renew problem and keys. Great!

Worst, rudest, and most disrespectful leasing office in the world, useless as well. They despise students(especially international students). The old women there are mean.

Hello, I've lived in the greenhouse apartments for 4-5 years now and I can confidently say that I've enjoyed my time here. The staff is kind and helpful. The front desk and specifically Kevin, have always been a pleasure to interact with. These negative reviews do not accurately reflect the level of service you will receive here. If you treat the staff cordially and respectfully, they will show you the same back.

I've been living in Greenhouse apartment for 2 years. Here is my reviewPros: The location is amazing as it was centrally located and had everything I need within walking distance. The best part is that it is affordable, which is a rare find in Back Bay area. The concierge and staff are willing to help me out and are quick to address any issues. I appreciate their promptness in resolving issues, which make me feel like I am being taken care of.Cons: Although the apartment was a little bit old, they have been renovating the building. Some of the residents who live here are entitled rich students. They can be disrespectful toward their neighborhoods. They don't even how to dispose of their trash properly. But, the good news is that it's getting better over time, and I am sure this issue will eventually be resolved.Overall, I have a fantastic experience at this apartment. The amazing location, affordability, and friendly staff deserve 5 star review. The apartment might not be brand new ( not uncommon in Back Bay), but the ongoing renovations make up for it. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in a prime location, this apartment is definitely worth checking out.

Some concierge kevin(a white old man) was giving me hella attitude when I was waiting for my friend to come and pick me up. I guess no one would want to live here after experiencing that. The fact he still gets his job after so many bad reviews because of him throughout the years just explained how bad the management in this building is.

I found (long)hair -and I’m bald- inside my bathroom towel, (only one towel provided by the way). Then I found hair inside the comforter provided, (it looked like it was from the same person). There was a brush supposedly for washing the dishes which had food leftovers on it!I found out by my friend who paid for the apartments that it was really expensive, and that’s the only reason I’m posting this review.Other than that, very central spot and views were great.

The concierge guy Kevin can make even picking up packages like a nightmare. I have witnessed many times that he treats Asian and whites so differently. He refused to let them pick up packages and even pretend he cannot understand their English… how rude!

They apartment staff just don’t care at all. It seems like the residents are the ones who get paid to follow their irrational “rule”.I guess the only reason they can keep renting out the room is because of the location. It is just a college dorm.Besides, not a luxury apartment at all(besides the price haha). Rude management and front desk, bad amenities, smelly hallway. With the same price, you can get a really good apartment experience anywhere else in Boston.

We spent the month of August at The Greenhouse Apartments. Concierge staff was excellent, Johnny, Kevin, Eric etc...were professional & helpful. Building is secure, fob is needed to acess inner doors and gym. When we moved in the disposal was leaking, Kevin came up, checked it out and maintenance was up within an hour to replace it. The maintenance staff are always painting and working on various projects. The gym is cleaned daily and had enough equipement/machines for a good workout. The pool area is clean and very pleasant. The patio out back is very nice for reading etc...Myles at leasing office was very helpful! Location convenient to groceries, T, restaurants and shopping. One item to take note of, there are a lot of students residing in the building.

My wife and I enjoyed living here, largely due to the convenience of the location (close to Green Line and Prudential Center) and the ease of living (elevator, front desk, gym, etc.). Garage parking underneath the apartments was also convenient and well-priced, and we used the spacious gym quite a bit. Pet-friendly is a plus and not always easy to find in the area. Johnny and Kevin at the front desk are some of the nicest people ever -- it was honestly great to see them each day. We also worked with Kim in the leasing office, who was beyond excellent. The business office was usually effective, but a little rougher to work with at times. In terms of cons, the common areas and hallways could use some updating, but our apartment was fairly nice. The pool deck was nice as well, but could stay open slightly longer in the year (even if the pool itself is closed). All in all, we enjoyed our time and would recommend staying here.

If I was able to afford another apartment within that location that leased to undergrads, I would’ve left a long time ago. Ever since I moved in, there always had to be some type of issue with the apartment. The vent in my apartment is so bad, it transmits odors from my neighbors, so whenever they cook, my entire apartment smells like their cooking. I’ve complained so much and literally nothing is ever done. There was a leak in my apartment for about four years and no compensation was ever provided. You basically have to nag them to get things done and they always mask problems but never actually resolve them. Each concierge that worked there was incredibly sweet, although a few had a bit of an attitude, and maintenance are so nice but besides that, so not worth it. Leasing and business office are incredibly rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I tried ending my lease since I wasn’t getting what I signed off on and I was getting tired of maintenance walking in and out of my apartment (they just show up at any time of day randomly without giving notice) but of course, they wanted me to pay a lease break fee because “it’s on the signed contract.” But they don’t really care about what’s on the contract (like things residents are entitled to, like an enjoyable living experience) if it doesn’t have to do with you paying.Bottom line is: they care about your money, not your experience as a resident. Avoid it if you can and take your money elsewhere. Wish I’d spent my undergraduate living somewhere else.
