Rough experience here.
I took my daughter’s iPad here to her the home button reseated. It wasn’t worked on for 2 days (after being told it would be completed before the end of each day), so I told them I’d just pick it up and get it fixed somewhere else.
When I came to pick it up, the screen had a crack in it — they claimed not to have caused the crack, but agreed that it wasn’t cracked when I brought it in…. What should have been a 30 second conversation resulting in a replaced screen, resulted in a 20 minutes conversation with both employees recounting the step by step events which took place between the time I dropped it off (no crack), and then (cracked). After discovering a few holes in the story which could have caused the crack, they agreed to repair it at no additional cost.
So did my device get repaired — yes.
Was the customer service and timing expectations some of the poorest I’ve experienced — also yes.

Two days… and that’s because I showed up, even gave them a call after the first 24 hrs, “ we are gonna give you a call” never happened and nothing got done…

Genuinely awful experience. I originally got an aftermarket screen for a couple hundred for my iPhone at a location in Northborough, and it was such poor quality I got it replaced here as I had a warranty. About a year later and part of my phone screen is completely black at all times. Not only that, but there have been several times the entire screen has turned off and I'm left with no phone for hours at a time. They had told me at both locations that their aftermarket screen was just like the original. I can't believe I paid for this shit, they completely destroyed my phone! Just go to Apple if you break your screen, don't waste your time.

Kean and Daniel at UBreakIFix seem personably-outgoing and technically-proficient. Kean replaced my laptop's screen--parts they warranteed for one year--replaced the storage drive with a larger and compatible SSD I'd bought from Amazon, and copied all my files. When excluding the cost of the drive, the repair cost about $330, which was 60% of Best Buy's Geek Squad estimate of $550. Additionally, Kean found a warped battery that could have ruined my computer, and I paid about another hundred for him to replace it, also having a warrantee--well-worth the cost, considering what the old battery could have damaged. I also told them the stylus had stopped working, which Kean got working--didn't even charge me. My job wasn't even an easier one, due to the BitLocker encryption on my original Windows 11 drive he didn't initially know about, but they did not raise their quote, and they kept me fully informed about the job status. Geek Squad would have charged me tons more for all of this. Going with Kean and Daniel at UBreakIFix helped me a lot. I'm happy.

My tablet suddenly wouldn’t let me login or even power off, while I was heading to a meeting . I stopped at uBreakiFix ,and they were extremely kind and helpful. One technician fixed it in just two minutes, and when I asked how much I owed, he said it was nothing . Amazing service and very professional staff!
