Store hours are not accurate. Arrived at 11:15 AM on Sunday (open 11 AM) and no one was there. The door was locked and the store display said 11 AM open on Sunday.

I’ve been a regular customer at this UPS Store for a while and have always appreciated the kind and helpful employees at the front counter. However, after a recent experience, I will no longer be returning — and I feel compelled to share what happened.
While waiting in line to drop off a couple of packages, I witnessed an extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary confrontation between the store owner and a customer. The customer, who appeared to be a small business seller, politely asked for a receipt that includes the package’s weight — something very standard at UPS Stores and useful as proof that a box isn’t empty when selling online.
The owner came out from the back looking disheveled and immediately began telling people to “just drop it off” if they already had labels. When the customer explained he needed the weight on the receipt, the owner became visibly irritated and told him that was a “paid service,” and that they don’t “offer free labor.” The customer pointed out that putting the box on the scale automatically includes the weight on the receipt, and said he’d done this many times before. The employee confirmed this, saying, “It just prints the weight.”
Rather than clarify or de-escalate, the owner berated the employee in front of everyone, asking, “We’re offering every customer free weighing now?” and even claimed it might be “illegal.” He then told the customer, “We are not UPS. We are The UPS Store,” and implied the man was trying to scam them.
The customer eventually left, frustrated, and the situation finally quieted down. The entire thing could have been avoided with a basic understanding of how the store works and a bit of respect. The owner’s behavior was unprofessional, paranoid, and honestly embarrassing to watch. He seemed completely baffled and upset that something as standard as weighing packages would be offered ‘for free.’
To be clear: the employees were great and clearly just trying to do their jobs. But the atmosphere created by the owner was hostile and chaotic. I’ve since started going to another UPS Store a few miles away where the team is professional, efficient, and understands what good service looks like. I’d strongly recommend doing the same

Go to the UPS in backbay, 3 green line stops away and won’t over charge you. This store is incompetent and their manager James supports over charging customers with 2x prices since “they’re indecently owned”

Most expensive ups store in Boston. Do not do any online prints there. They won’t tell you the price until pick up and charge you double the standard price.

I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store. The staff member who assisted me was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not only was he unhelpful, but he also made faces and treated me with clear disrespect. His attitude felt discriminatory, which made the experience even worse. Customer service should be about helping people, not making them feel uncomfortable. I won’t be returning to this location and would not recommend it to others.

Jon was extremely helpful. I had multiple boxes to ship and they were filled with fragile, sentimental items. He took the time to explain my shipping options, reassured me of the process, and provided great customer service to support getting these boxes from here to their destination. I have no reservations recommending this location.

This was some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. 5:30 12/9. I don't think the guy knew what the word package meant. He said my best option was to call UPS support for a missing package. I asked arnt you support??? He said na and turned back around. I felt insulted!!! Dont go to this store if you want to be treated like a person.
