Mail was marked held at post office per customer request, I never requested it be held. Tried calling Brighton PO for over an hour and everytime phone rang and rang and went to busy signal at 3min50 seconds. No one every answers they just disconnect you. Horrible service Brighton!

Lost two(!) packages I was shipping out. Blamed DHL/UPS? Refused to help any further. Go elsewhere if you actually want packages shipped.

In my experience, Paula was super helpful in helping me submit my passport renewal form. Fedex had lost my passport renewal application in the mail, so I had to submit another application through USPS with expedited processing and shipping. When I met with Paula, she saw that I didn't have all my documents, and she gave very clear instructions regarding what I needed and any other specifics. I didn't realize that this USPS office doesn't take passport photos, but she directed me to the CVS across the street while also saying that once I returned with the photos, she would help me right away after I returned. The whole process took two days, mainly because of errors on my part, and the whole time, Paula was patient and calm, which helped me out a ton. Eventually got my passport two weeks later and was still able to make it on my trip. Thanks, Paula!

I've lived in Brighton for 5 years and I've never had a good experience. Pretty sure being rude and condescending for literally no reason is a requirement to get hired here.

Totally went above and beyond to help get a Christmas gift for my niece to us in time!

I am attempting to get in contact with the stores supervisor, Dan, at the post office’s specific request regarding and undeliverable package. I have called the given number 5 times, stay on the line for an operator, and then get hung up on each time. My package is being held hostage and there is no way for me to contact anybody about it

Best post office in a surrounding area, considering all post offices are understaffed. We all know the USPS is not like it used to be from years back.Waiting in line for close to an hour in P.O. was never heard of around the holidays. There are more people in the cities to serve. This P.O. do their best they can professionally.

Anan was the MOST helpful with me today. I am moving and was rather stressed about everything but he answered all my questions and made sure I got the best deal sending stuff to my new address. The other staff member there even let me borrow his sharpie. Very helpful and patient! Thank you USPS!

Do not order anything online via shipping from USPS in Brighton. The mailman that delivers near Oak Square is a thief and will take any package that is of value. USPS does not even allow you to file a claim unless you purchase insurance on the package.

I tried to change address here. The second time 3 weeks later I was told to try again. I left name, number email in case there was a problem and was promised I would receive a call if so. No call. 3 weeks later I was told I had to submit again and it must be because I didn't put my name on mailbox. I submitted a 3rd time. Finally they said they never successfully submitted the request because our old address could not be verified and it was not their problem. Of course that ignored all the giving me seemingly random excuses for the problem for 2 months and not checking on what was going on for 2 months then deflecting blame from themselves to another post office. If they'd apologized and taken responsibility for their part and acknowledged their errors in dealing with me I'd have no problem.

Very long line. Very slow and not helpful staff. They tried to overcharge me for postage. Try to use a different post office if possible.

I came here for a passport appointment and Paula (or Pamela?? She has dirty blonde short hair.) was the most unhelpful person ever.I had all of my documents ready to go, requested to expedite the application process, and she gave me such a difficult time. She kept telling me that with the current situation with passports that I would never get it back in time for my trip. Mind you, I was a little over 8 weeks out from my international travel, and the expedited estimate was 7-9 weeks on the official government website. She insisted it would take much longer like 12+ weeks.... she left me alone for a few minutes then came back saying she went to the back and called to Passport Agency to confirm her statement when I did not request this. I knew she was lying at the time because there's no way she got through to them in such little time, and she kept pushing back on sending in the application. I confronted her asking why she can't just do her job and send the application in, rather than chime into people's business to cause stress. She refused to help send my application, so I went to another location in Newton. No stress there. The guy told me I would receive the passport in about 5 weeks because the summer rush is over!Passport arrived soooo quickly in exactly 4 weeks with expedited processing.0 stars on this review if only for Paula, but I put 2 stars for the other hardworking people at this location. Sorry in advance if you have to deal with her.

Packages have repeatedly not arrived and been marked delivered. Good luck getting anyone on the phone, and the USPS website application for reporting missing mail hasn't worked for months. This only happens to me when packages are sent out from the Brighton Post Office. Kind of makes one want to support further USPS budget cuts.
