My experience has been fine here prior, but during today’s visit, the man at the counter threw my package against the wall and into the distribution bin (instead of moving it across the room).
I’m actually shocked, I know packages get tossed around when being delivered, but this was a very deliberate and hard throw, not just a gentle toss. If that’s how they’re treating packages in front of the customers, I cant imagine how bad it must be out of view.
I don’t need white glove service at the post office or anything, and I understand if people are having a bad day, but this is honestly not an acceptable way to treat packages that he has no idea what’s inside.
It’s a bummer because I try to support the USPS whenever possible because I think it’s a really important public service to have, but this was really disappointing and infuriating.

I have lived at a lot of different locations. it seems this PO is the worst in the system, certainly the worst I've experienced. It's usually worth it to instead go over to Newton's or some other PO.

The USPS website stated that this location had a 24-hour drop box open on sundays. Got here and it is not in fact the case.

SOMEONE IS STEALING IN THIS LOCATION. DO NOT TRUST THIS BRANCH.Either the manager is involved or the employees have their way, but they stole two checks from us and they refuse to help us, even though they admitted the checks never left the post office.

I mailed two checks out of this post office and neither made it to its destination. I reported this to USPS and they said "sorry for the inconvenience". Nobody picks up the phone to follow up on what happened.

Came here 9pm hoping to use the self service kiosk. But the doors are locked. What’s the point having kiosk 24/7 but the customer can’t use it?

The West Roxbury post office is one of my favorites, I make the drive from Jamaica Plain, it's worth it. Friendly staff, I never feel rushed and all the times I've been here there hasn't been much of a wait if any! They usually have 3 people at the desk at any given time, they have functioning pens at the counter (not all locations do). Parking is easy to find on the street and there is a parking lot behind the post office.

Honestly one of the worst post offices I have experienced. We have lived locally for 2 years and they regularly deliver wrong mail, have long lines at random times, and generally avoid trying to be customer service oriented.
