Their is only one person working the blue door with over 20 ppl in the lobby in the mattapan post office.Unacceptable. This would not be tolerated in the white people area. Get it together.

The whole week Lobby never opens @7:00 AM. Even after 8:15 AM , the post office is still closed no access the lobby.

Worse post office ever! The customer service was terrible. Got there 5 mins before closing and the lady working was acting like security telling people they can’t come in. If the hours are 9 to 1 then you should be able to take customers until 1:00pm! I understand she probably wanted to get off work but that’s your job . While being in there she was arguing with other customers telling them they don’t have enough time to send their mail. terrible terrible terrible

Every time I come to this location there is more than 15 people waiting in line. Today was 22 including myself. 2 postal workers working, including passports which seem to take substantial time and for the worker to take these people and make others wait for these ridiculously long times is just horrible customer service. What is the USPS doing to help this location and its community.

I went to this location today to get new passports for my entire family. They were on-time, pleasant, professional and efficient. They made a somewhat tedious, time consuming process painless. I was very satisfied with the entire experience. Highly recommend!

I have a monthy subscription that gets delivered to my house. For the past 3-4 months whomever attempts the delivery DOESN'T. They don’t even leave the Notice that says we missed you. I BE HOME!!Which brings me to my next point. When calling about my hiccup with the postal service, the customer service is a negative 5. (-5). I honestly don’t care what the notice is called whether is “Sorry we missed you” or whatnot the rep knew what I meant. Don’t tell me that’s UPS. Don’t tell me that cuz you listen to my spiel, (which was actually a rant) that you can be literal. I need the woman & name of who helped me last time cuz she was good AND PROFESSIONAL. Why is your mailman not doing his job?Then she comes back with telling me it’s on the truck? I mean duh! The faulty delivery was “attempted” about an hour ago. Of course it’s on the truck! WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!? I will get a post office box in Milton or Quincy just avoid this place. It needs a major revamp of everything.

The worst, never again. So i scheduled a passport appt. Came to the appt ask the lady in the front that was there for a passport appointment. She tells me to wait. I wait about 20 mins. Than i went ask some else and he tells me that the person call in sick. I took time out of work for this. I am beyond angry with this experience. No emails no calls to tell me the appt was cancelled. Seriously. My time precious too.

I send off some documents from July 1, 2021. The tracking number they gave me for the package is not working. Can't tell where my documents is located. Everytime I go to the post office they keep telling me they can't find anything in the system because the tracking number they provide me with is not working. I'm planning on taking things up thing with my lawyer. I have my receipt as proof to say I send it from that post office. Really getting annoyed.

Possibly one of the worst post offices. Sometimes people are kind, but they usually have attitudes like it's a DMV. I'm in line with 9 other people, and I can hear a community of laughs in the back, but no one is able to assist with the line. I asked for tape for my package on my last visit, and both clerks found it hilarious that I could request a post office to have tape. The first person seemed like she didn't hear me or didn't care to find any, and said I could buy some. I stepped out of line to wait for the clerk I was originally working with, but after waiting, she chuckled and asked the same question. I wasn't able to send my package then, and I have been at the post office for over a half hour. There were four people in line when I got here. It's ridiculous.
