I drove to the Southie post office from Chelsea on the 26th of December to mail a birthday card to a Southie resident who's birthday was on the 27th. I went INSIDE and deposited the card in the "SOUTH BOSTON ONLY" slot. It took 4 (FOUR) DAYS for the card to be delivered. Lazy mailmen. And they're raising their prices? THEY DON'T DESERVE A RAISE!

Had multiple checks all mailed from the Southie office to the same business stolen then one was spoofed and someone tried to use it to cash 21000$Filed a complaint and police report- nadaThen had another check disappear in NovemberWon’t use them again

Even if they have the right address they still will deliver to the wrong mailbox. Southie finest what a joke. Worse mail carriers ever.

They made me buy tape to tape up my priority package. How else are people supposed to send priority packages? Buy tape every time? Never had that happen.

Had a package worth about $2,000 that was supposed to be delivered while I was out of town so I placed a hold mail request. Carrier ignored the request and delivered it anyway and it got stolen. The branch manager pretty much told me “tough luck” since there was no insurance on it. Complete lack of accountability, respect, or communication from any employee at this location. What a shame

Pro tip: never ever use this location for priority delivery on any item. I paid $84 for overnight shipping of my laptop on a Friday, expecting it by Saturday. It’s Wednesday and the package has not moved, and further when you open a case to look into the matter it takes up to 3 days for them to “investigate”. This is the second time that this has happened.

HOLY ATTACK OF THE KARENS ? I went there for a passport which takes a little extra time than your average post office visit and in the matter of time that I was there (15-20 mins?) the attending clerks were both treated rudely, disrespectfully and with entitled behavior by at least four different customers. One man was edging on violence. These employees legitimately need a security guard... or bouncer The internet blew up retail store Karens and it's time we call out these post office rude Karens next because NO ONE deserves the treatment that I had witnessed today. ESPECIALLY considering that ALL attendants we're QUICK, HELPFUL, WITTY AND WORKING HARD. It was uncalled for and you patrons, my NEIGHBORS - SADLY should be ashamed of yourselves. For shame.

I live on D and Broadway our building was built two years ago but listed as a Broadway address. The post office said no your address is on D st as that's where the entrance is. Then I get a note saying my electricity is being shut off because I haven't paid in 1.5 years Turns out all my electric bills were getting returned to sender hmm but all my other mail was being delivered.Cost me 3k due to the post office's error Now three checks for my business car have disappeared- just in the etherGreat service guys

Very unprofessional! Their staff called around 10 to inform that my appointment is at 10:40. Most places didn’t allow me to take pictures in the morning which caused me to visit multiple locations until I was able to find one. Once I got there late the person that attended me was very rude and unprofessional. She wore glasses. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The worst post office ever. I had a package sent back to me twice, I repaid for the label and it still got sent back with the CORRECT address, name and apartment number. I asked for them to resend it and try again since I was within the 30 day limit, but they refused. Didn’t even bother trying to find another solution. I paid up to $32 to ship this package since I had to pay for two labels so far, and they can’t even help me. Worst office staff ever. I went to ups and guess what? They sent it and it got delivered with no issues. Do better usps.. I will never go back to this office again

All post offices aren't ideal. They're unpredictable because of the MANY "moving parts" of this HUGE operation these wonderful public servants assist on. The staff here has ALWAYS been as helpful and efficient as possible. People think they're the only person that matters in the world so, get over yourself and give these workers the credit they deserve. Workers: you are AMAZING! Thank you
