The gentleman that works here is an absolute delight. If we could, we would visit only this location every time.

Unless you’re a state house employee, do not come here.

They said they delivered a package to my address on September the 9th. I was home the whole day and nothing came.

NOTE: THIS FULL SERVICE USPS IS IN THE BASEMENT OF THE STATE HOUSE. It does not have a street-level storefront. I recently visited this USPS because it was the most convenient for me to stop by on my way home. However, upon arriving at the address on GoogleMaps, I was at a loss of how to find the post office. I asked around to numerous people, none of whom knew there was a post office around--and one even told me it used to be there but it closed. So, to echo a previous reviewer, you will need to turn left on Beacon Street, onto Bowdoin Street. Then you'll enter through the Ashburton Park entrance and go through a metal detector. The guards manning that will direct you down the hall, down the stairs, to the post office. So, yes--this post office is still existent and open! They do have limited hours and they are awfully hard to find the first time you go.. but there were no lines! And the lady helping me was super nice and helpful.
