Venu Nightclub offers a lively environment with great music and a nice layout, making it a popular spot for dancing and meeting people. The staff, especially some members like Taki, are praised for their helpfulness and professionalism. Visitors enjoy the diverse music and the fun, vibrant atmosphere. However, there are some concerns, such as the allowance of weed smoking inside, which can be unpleasant for non-smokers. Drinks are often watered down, and the door and coat check staff are sometimes unfriendly. The cover charge is considered high by some, and the club has been criticized for expensive drinks and issues with security, including uncomfortable physical contact. Despite these negatives, many find it a good place for fun, especially for those visiting alone or looking for a good time. Overall, Venu Nightclub is recognized for its great vibe and music, but improvements could be made in customer service and policies.
What pissed me off was the bouncers tell me it was House music inside and we paid close to $100 to get inside only to realise it was music people grind and twerk to

40 bucks to get in is insane. Rude bartenders, no free tap water or sink water??? One of the reasons why this city has a bad nightlife.

There was a line to get in, but thankfully moved quickly. While the music was decent, and I did like the club layout, I do think a $40 cover is absurd. If there's a guest list or free entry before 11p, I'd recommend doing that.
