Don’t visit here! They will tow you while you are shopping inside.

Spent $45 at this Walgreens and walked two businesses down to get coffee. Was back within 20 minutes to watch our car getting towed. The tow yard is around the corner, so it really feels like a racket tbh. Tow is $170 cash only.

Was in this store not even 30 min and overheard 2 other customers say they were just towed. I go back to my car when done shopping, drink the water I just bought, pulled up my next destination on my GPS, no more than 5 minutes since the time on my receipt when I feel a tow truck bumping up behind me, car still on with me in it! I come here to see if anyone else in the reviews had the same problem, and soooo many have since over a month ago. Is Walgreens making excuses to close this store down or something?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS WALGREENS! Just watched a Walgreens customer get towed while he was inside the Walgreens, and got it on video! It won’t let me upload the video, so here’s a screenshot of the of the video. There’s a CVS literally next door and that’s where I’m going from now on. I’d never seen anything like it, but they’re snatching their own customers’ cars at this Walgreens!

do NOT park here! Brighton Towing around the corner will scoop your car immediately even if under the 30 min limit. Towing company runs a cash only scam to get your back for $170

Samantha Provided excellent customer service and help me with something that I really had difficulty with. She has always been super nice and super helpful. If there were more employers like her would be a better place.

This pharmacy is very unprofessional. I myself am a worker in a pharmacy. I recently had a patient who wanted their scripts sent there and then back. I know annoying and I get it but it was patients request due to their own miscommunication and annoyance and I know this takes time. Needless to say after the pharmacist was done transferring he took it upon himself to inform me that he had to work overtime, that I wasted his time, and that he wanted me to feel bad that I wasted his time. I politely said ok thank you have a nice day to keep it professional. This kind of attitude is beyond rude and unprofessional. Again we work in the same field so it was obvious I wasn't doing it on purpose or being malicious. I should have gotten his information and complained but I'm not that type of person. If given the chance I would have even apologized. As a healthcare worker I was astonished. Proper etiquette is a must in customer service and just because I too work in the pharmacy doesn't give anyone the right to lack that when communicating. Very disappointed. If you do not like your profession please change it.

Walgreens in Allston is very bad place to shop. Very rude associates. When asked for help ignore customers. Place is very dirty. Good thing is that CVS is nearby.

AVOID THIS WALGREENS
I parked my car and made a purchase at 4:26pm. At 4:36pm, my car was towed. The towing place is literally across the street and they want $174 to get it back. They have a special relationship with Walgreens where they can just tow anyone and make a ton of money. My Walgreens receipt didn’t count for anything. Illegal scheme

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at a Walgreens store at 10:30 on June 16. After purchasing a product, I requested a bag, which the store manager refused to provide even though I offered to pay for it. When I insisted on getting a bag, the manager rudely told me to "get out bro," despite the fact that I remained calm and polite throughout the interaction.
To make matters worse, when I asked for her name to file a complaint with Walgreens, she outright refused to give it to me. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and it has left me with a very negative impression of Walgreens. I recorded the entire incident on my camera and intend to take further action.
I hope Walgreens takes customer service seriously and addresses such behavior appropriately. This was a horrible experience, and I will think twice before shopping at Walgreens again.

This Walgreens is abnormally aggressive about towing. I parked here for 1.5 hours and they towed my car. I've parked in parking lots all over Boston and have never experienced this level of towing enthusiasm. The towing company is just around the corner and it costs $174 cash only to get your car back. I asked the towing guy if they have a special relationship with this Walgreens and he got defensive. It's very weird to me why people getting paid minimum wage working at Walgreens would be so vigilant about who parks there, whether they walk into the store, and if they do, whether they walk back out to their car or somewhere else. Mind your own business; there's plenty of parking because no one likes/wants to shop there. It makes me think that Walgreens is getting some kind of monetary kickback from the towing company. $174 cash per car is extremely profitable and can be split in many ways. Suspicious all around. Possibly fraud. Anyways I'm glad I get my prescription from CVS. I read on CNN that Walgreens is closing a significant number of their approx 8600 locations nationwide due to underperformance. I hope this Walgreens closes.

I recently visited Walgreens and unfortunately had an extremely unpleasant encounter with one of the staff members named Maria. Not only was she incredibly rude, but her behavior was also blatantly racist. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of any differences. It's unacceptable for any employee to display such discriminatory behavior. I left the store feeling utterly disappointed and disrespected. I strongly urge Walgreens to address this issue promptly and ensure that all staff members undergo sensitivity training to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. As a diverse and inclusive community, we deserve better treatment from businesses like Walgreens.
