It is a problem with the schedule, if you go in the morning they tell you that they open at 2, if you go in the afternoon it is closed at 5, and the search engine says that it opens from 8:00am to 9:00pm.God they have to meet a fixed schedule so that the client knows and has a free trip.

Shelves are barely stocked and in disarray, carts are in poor condition, barely any cashiers despite massive lines. Parking is also poor.

I live in the area and use this stop & shop frequently. Good store for the most part. However, when I shopped there recently a carriage cart retriever with a pony tail harassed me on the way in and out of the store. He was short and had his hair in a bun. I completely ignored his profanity laced tirades to avoid confrontation. I noticed he did this with other shoppers as well who also attempted to ignore him. He creates a very hostile shopping environment and call me crazy but I don't think customers of a store should be harassed by employees for no reason. I've never had an issue at this stop & shop with any other employees until today. The other employees at the store have always been helpful and pleasant.

I bought a money order from western union by mistake when I asked for one from usps without knowing that it was not sold there and they did not accept to return the money. Extremely unhelpful.

So this store has terrific staff... present, knowledgeable and they try to help. This single start is specifically aimed dead straight at the miserable curs who run this institution. They make you get a card to qualify for discounts... that itself is an inconvenience. NOW in addition they require a complicated phone app to be installed to qualify for super discounts!! As a senior citizen this is an outrage and most likely illegal. Shame on these clowns!!

Just awful. One cashier at 8:00 on a Monday. Line 8 people long. Cashier was rude and said there was not additional help. There was no manager. And calling customer service didn't even reach a machine to leave a VM. I'll call again tomorrow, but I'm done with that mess of a store!

This is the worst grocery store on the planet. Like this place is how I imagine hell. They have no selection of basic common household items and if they do have an item you want.. good luck finding it because there's literally no organization to their aisles. AND THEN if you if you find what you want lol good luck checking out because there are no actual employees and it's all self check out and you need to wait in line at least 10 minutes with everyone else trying to ring up and bag their million groceries. I've tried this place a handful of times because of convenient location but I will not go back after today.

Former Employee here - they treat their employees and customers like garbage. They call the cops on homeless people just for existing on company property, who don't even bother anyone. They told me I'm not allowed to have a water bottle because it's a "personal item". As for customers, the strategy is to rush them through the self-scan or checkout before they realize how nasty the meat they're buying is. I've personally seen so many grey spots on the meat checking people out, and I've gotten sick from eating the chicken. The store is overpriced too, you can get better prices and higher quality in every supermarket in the area except for whole foods and star market.

I think this Shop & Stop has the best prices in the area. I have compared prices and have found the this chain is the most competitive. I usually shop at this location at the beginning or end of the day. It opens at 6:00 with an hour for senior citizens and it is convenient for me on the way to work. I find that it has a wide selection of products. It has whatever I am looking for. It has fresh vegetables and fruit. They must check the shelves every night to maintain their stock levels and quality control. I have never had a problem with anything that I have purchased from them. They have a Duncan Donuts so if I happen to be in the mood for a cup of coffee, I can always pick one up on the way out the door.

Once I left behind cash back on accident because the machine was spazzing out and when I went back to get it, the woman after me in line had stolen it. Stop and shop manager reviewed the cameras, admitted that she stole it and that it was on camera then did NOTHING about it.As a side note: don't bother with the self checkout machines. I have had THREE occasions where I could not pay with the card because the machine is half broken not reading it and none of the employees know what to do about it. So it's a big ordeal and it once took an hour just to pay for my groceries, with things defrosting in my cart and running late for an appointment.

I don't get to this Stop & Shop as often as I go to Star on Wester Ave, or TJ's, due to walking distance. I went on Friday, 10th, and it looked as busy and as messy as always. I did my shopping and left, then right away I went back in to use some hand sanitizer but I never saw any at either end of the store, and then it was obvious the carts and baskets were not cleaned or disinfected, so I went outside again and I asked the store employee sitting there doing something, customer count(?), and asked her if there was any sanitizer for customers, and after a minute and a puzzled look, she said she "didn't think so." WTF? This was July 10th! And of course, this was the only time I didn't have my own hand sanitizer. Not going back.

My baby daddy don't like us shopping here. The shelves are always empty. They should be stocking items more frequently. I don't regularly shop here and this is why. Ocasionally I'll purchase a few items but essentials are difficult to come by. Usually if I buy something, it's candy or a special item that catches my eye.

Stop n Shops are hit or miss; some of them are great, and others are just crappy. Well, this particular stop n shop is at the bottom of the barrel. Old produce that never lasts, items whose expiration dates have already passed, but they continue to sit on the shelves....I could go on, but I'll refrain. Almost all of the employees here have very poor attitudes, ESPECIALLY the store managers (who watch you like hawks when you shop, it's very unnerving). I would avoid. To go the star market, or Trader Joe's, both of which aren't too far away.

This store is terrible. Employees have terrible attitudes, store is disgusting, they never have enough lanes open, stuff is always under stocked and the paper bags rip constantly.
