Small village PO, has abbreviated hours that are difficult to hit if you have a job. Unfortunately it’s the only way to get mail as Cataumet has no residential mail boxes, only PO Boxes. Bonnie the current post mistress is lovely and it’s a pleasure to chat with her.

I have never met a more rude and simply wretched human being in my life until I came across this woman. She wakes up every day and thinks about how she can be as unhelpful and unbecoming as physically possible. She gets off by reprimanding, even when you try and ask questions or understand, her attitude clouts the entire room and you're unable to hear anything with clarity. How she keeps her job here is beyond me, and it pains me to sleep at night knowing that my tax dollars go towards her salary. She goes out of her way to ensure that you feel a strong urge to punch something after speaking with her. She essentially tells you to your face that she hates you and hates the world. I can only hope that someone gifts her a vibrator for Christmas this year so that she can release whatever devil is living inside of her. It can be used during her 2 hour daily lunch break I'm sure.

Wanted to write to note, the person referenced by the 1-star ratings is no longer at this post office. Cindy is the new postmaster and is amazing and caring of the folks who have their mailboxes here. Please be assured, the previous ratings are no longer applicable.

We have a new post master, Cindy, and she is wonderful! Her assistant, Bonnie, is also new and she couldn't be nicer! Thank you both for doing such a great job for our Cataumet Village! You are a breath of fresh air!

The worst customer service and human being...go to the USPS website and complain in the Personnel section about this old woman

She holds on to people's packages as if that gives her a false and pathetic sense of power. 'Sending a package back' is the most empowered action she can ever make in her so-called career. Torturing good customers gives her joy and helps her sleep at night. I have experienced all the negative reviews people left here and yes they are 100% true.

We had a delivery problem with the FedEx outfit that takes packages to the PO. I am very happy to report that the postmistress was very helpful and called me twice as she tried to figure out where the package was. All of the adjectives in previous reviews do not apply to the experience I had earlier this week.
