Tipper passed at 18 years old under Dr. Halverson's care and I cannot stress enough how respectful and necessary her counseling was through those end days to ensure we kept Tippers comfort first.Dr. Foster stayed on the phone with me extensively, to make sure I completely understood each decision we made in testing and treating my 12 year old Malinois that continues to thrive with Shepherd Family clinic in his corner.This vet is 100% the best vet in the area. Hands down. 10,000 stars. Even Jen at the front desk is the kindest person in the world. I trust each employee there completely.”

“I have been consistently impressed and touched with each and every one of the staff at West Concord Animal Hospital. They are so caring, knowledgeable and accommodating and they are never rushed. They always zoom in immediately on the pets to make a genuine connect with each one that I have observed. She drives all the way from Arlington just because of the great staff here after having not so great experiences locally. “I had to come here for a sad reason. My leopard gecko who was 18 years old was rapidly declining in health and it was extremely hard to find a vet that would euthanize a small lizard. The staff here was beyond sweet. The lady that helped me at the desk was very emphatic and understanding. The doctor was perfect with the whole procedure even tho I was emotional. Im sure he sees it a lot but I was crying pretty hard and he treated Carl with the utmost respect. I would say they helped me make this bad day a little easier. Thank you again for your help.”

“While visiting in the Groton area, my almost 16 year young pup developed a UTI (urinary tract infection). It's not generally an emergency condition, but in a senior dog, it could progress quickly. I'd called several veterinary offices in the area, but none could see us for a few days because we weren't pre-registered clients.When I called Veterinary Health Care of Groton, they were willing to fit us in that afternoon. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. I was concerned that my pup would be uncomfortable on the hard floor & suddenly, a fleece blanket appeared for her! Dr. Thomas & her staff handled my pup gently & were very attentive to me & respectful of my concerns. I believe we received wonderful service for the cost of the visit,especially for a last-minute appointment.I had explained that we were just visiting in the area, but we were treated like long-term, valued clients. If you need veterinary care in Groton, I'd definitely consider this office!”

“I got an appointment for the day I called, and Dr. Patil was very thorough and gentle with my senior cat. When deciding on treatment (antibiotics) options, he went with the one that would cause the least amount of stress on my cat. “I’ve been coming to this practice for about 3 years now, first with my cat then with my English bulldog. We’ve seen both Dr. Mockler and Dr. Roe and both were absolutely fantastic. My bulldog is a frequent flyer and they always take amazing care of her! They answered all my questions and were always super responsive to any of my concerns regarding my pets health. The front desk staff is super friendly, accommodating, and pleasant as well. We just moved out of the area and are so sad to leave this practice but I’d highly recommend them to anyone in the area!!!”
“Great vets, professional front desk staff, kind techs. I can’t say enough about the patience and kindness of the staff in helping care for our nervous doggie, our elderly girl who has heart disease, and their silly little sister. The vets and techs truly follow the fear free protocols and the vets spend the time to get the whole picture and give guidance and options. We’ve gotten the chance to get to know Dr Wilson and Dr Rondeau pretty well and they’ve been awesome. But have had an equally good experience with Dr Carpenter last week, and really anyone we’ve seen for a sick visit. It’s also a well run and organized practice.”
