About Braintree Municipal Golf Course
Braintree Municipal Golf Course is considered the best municipal golf course in the area and one of the best public courses around. It is a great track with a great layout that is fairly priced and a bit challenging. The course is in fine shape, with immaculate greens, solid fairways, and bunkers with real sand. It remains in pretty good shape even after rain. The staff is excellent and friendly. Many recommend visiting the restaurant afterward for a cold drink and food. While generally positive, some note that pace of play can be slow at times.
Course is in fine shape. Went out at 4:20 and finished at 8:10 only playing 12 holes. Lost of inconsiderate golfers infront of us goofing around and playing multiple balls . The ranger drove around multiple times but didn’t seem to do anything to help the pace of play

Great track and fairly priced. You can tell when it rains a lot this place probably gets very wet and oversaturated, but when I played there had been some light rain the night before and the course was still in great shape.

I was super impressed with how good shape this course is in. Greens were immaculate, fairways cut solid, bunkers had real sand. I knew this was a solid course but it is definitely one of the best public courses around.
